My fiance had a referral from the ER and from Georgia Southern's Health Services Department for a kidney stone. Dr. Thaller's office refused to consult her or see her even though her insurance lists them as in network and available. When she called to ask about it, the office worker cut her off and told her to "go to Augusta then. They might see you". Dr. Thaller, I'm sure you do fantastic work, but your office staff does not. Please fire your office staff and replace them with competent and compassionate office staff workers. Your current staff could not be any more rude to potential patients even if they tried.

I literally "jumped through the hoops" to get an appointment. Everything was submitted via my PMD as required. When they received the referral, the 2nd time, I was told "we are not accepting new patients". Nice! They could have told me this prior to the referrals, (I did talk to them three times) and such, or....................

Dr. Thaller is excellent. Takes time with his patients. He is easy to talk to. Listens with sincerity. Very caring. Office staff is also excellent and caring. Highly recommend . 5 stars for sure.

He is more interested in the sound of his own voice than in listening to me as a patient. Staff needs to speak with patients in a more professional way. Snippy.
