Abdul Odemuyiwa's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Ode is a great doctor and very smart! He listened to me and he helped me to understand my health conditions. I am so thankful. I tell everyone I know that needs a doctors to go see him.

Best doctor ever, great listener, compassionate, Godly, makes you feel like you are the only patient he has, just an all and all very decent human being. I have been choosing very high cost of insurance at my job just so that I can maintain him as my PCP. If you are sick, he will call you to see how you are doing, very few physicians do this. No word to discribe the goodness of DR ODE (as his patients affectionately call him) and he has been consistent throughout the years. He has been the PCP of my family and I for almost 10 years.

I cannot wait until I fully recover post covid so I can report him to the board. As a servant of the Henry county community, it’s obscured how this Doctor dismissed me. I’m a Master Level Social Worker right here in HENRY COUNTY. I was neurologically effected by Covid. After being seen and cleared by the neurologist, I went back to Dr. Odemuyiwa to request a referral for speech and physical therapy. He continued to tell me over and over that my situation was not his specialty and he couldn’t justify the referral. SIR, I WAS HOLDING ON WALLS JUST TO GET INTO YOUR OFFICE AND MY SPEECH IS SLURRED!! Covid debilitated me not only mentally but PHYSICALLY. I was hospitalized twice for PHYSICALLY being effected by COVID, slurred speech, falls, right sided weakness, etc., I brought every piece of medical record i could gather from both of my hospital admissions for him to see. He never listens and is very dismissive. I had to find another doctor and she EVALUATED me from top to bottom and confirmed that I needed help, home health! She was ORDERED PT, OT, SLP and a home health aide to assist me with ADLS since Covid affected my ability to get dressed alone! Dr. Odemuyiwa never took the time to address my needs and it all could’ve been so simple. If this man is responsible for serving our community during these hard times, I’m afraid for us as people of this community. I seemed help and was DENIED. After walking off after being denied, he finally wrote a “referral” for PT, no name or list of local rehabs. Are you serious? I specially told him I cannot drive due to being neurologically effected by Covid! This man is horrible and not a server to the healthcare world and I’m disgusted! But I won’t let this denial be a delay. I finally got the help I need from another doctor and I’m on my road to physically recovering from Covid. Dr. Odemuyiwa, you will remember my name! I’m not stopping until I reach the board about this!

I would never back to the stockbridge office to see Dr. Odemuyiwa. His staff was great but he was very impatient and didn't seem interested in how I was telling him I felt due to a medication I was prescribed. He was only interested in being right and increased a medication and added another one, that I ended up finding out the next day from another doctor that I needed to come off of because it was causing the reaction that I explained to Dr. Odemuyiwa. I usually go to the Riverdale office but they didn't have any available appointments. I regret I chose to see him instead. Never again.

He does not listen well to patient complaints and patient restrictions. I wouldn't say he's condescending, but is definitely narrow minded in his approach and not thorough in the slightest. This is not all on him though, it is the office culture at large. His front office staff is actually the worst part of the experience. Very apathetic people and very much not proactive in preventing disease spread throughout their facility. No timely follow up whatsoever. A perfect snapshot of healthcare in Georgia.

My family has been with Dr.Ode and his staff for about 15 yrs now. He is tops! He has treated four generations of my family now. Wouldn't want to be without him.

Love this place. The staff always impresses me, and the docs listen and understand.

I absolutely love Dr. Odi. He is always very attentive to any concerns I might have as a 70-year-old woman. Never tries to rush through a visit. Always shows kindness and empathy in a world so lacking of such. I have been his patient since 2008, and it was one of the most fortunate events in my life to have found him.
