List of Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates Stockbridge's Reviews
Dr. Edge was very good. However the person who set up the appointment screwed up the insurance. I paid $500 up front. the money was not due. they kept the money and forgot the refund. six months later billing dept. finally put me on a waiting list for a refund.
Long story short, when I made my appointment I was advised my insurance would be verified for payment if not then I can’t have the procedure (endoscopy). Ok, process takes 2 weeks 🙄. Get the call to go forward with the procedure so I set an appointment. Oh, also verified with whom I was making the appointment that it was going to be covered. Bet, we make the appointment. Had to wait another two weeks I believe 🙄 maybe longer if I’m not mistaken. Had to have a driver ok cool. Have the procedure, everything went smooth🙌🏾. Few months past here’s a bill in the mail for the procedure 🤦🏽♀️. I call my insurance company to see why (mind you the rep informed me the office is supposed to call not the patient) So what that tell you🤷🏽♀️ Okay so then the insurance rep inform me that it would be covered if the right code was put in. In the meantime I’m talking to both the office and insurance, relaying what the insurance rep said. The office had to call. Now the office person called (this is a follow up call now). She said she submitted twice with different codes but wasn’t accepted. Okay so why in the heck did you set my appointment? To get over on hardworking people. Not to mention my results came back normal slight swelling but nothing “major” meanwhile here I am a year and a half later looking for another doctor. I don’t know why I waited so long. I believed the results 😩 and I continued to have problems. This all could’ve been prevented when I first told my primary Dr. Kurl Ravinder (2015-that I changed finally) that I was having indigestion, heartburn and acid reflux issues. He prescribed me a medication, pantoprazole. I took it daily it wasn’t until I switch primaries (2020) that I was told the medication should’ve only been taking daily for the first two weeks then after as needed. Here I am 6 years later in the same position actually worst. On this medication still and is no longer effective These doctors do not listen to their patients and I’m tired of it.
I went in for a pre-screening for a colonoscopy. I arrived at 9:51 appointment was 10:15. I was given the customary intake packet, which I completed by 10:17 and returned to the clerk. The clerks were really nice, professional, and efficient. I watched the patients all get called who were there upon my arrival and leave. Those who came in after my packet return also got called in before I did. I LEFT at 11:30 because obviously they lost my file or something. If this is any indication of possible care then I just don't feel comfortable with that.
I can’t believe how incredibly nice and caring every single staff member was!
I am one of doctor's Rebind patient! He has a terrible assistant who has no customer service!!! I can see why this place have 2 in half stars!!! She needs to be train on customer service or get someone else to do it!!🤬
Doctor Brown was ok however scheduled px was at a nonpar facility leaving us with $3000 in bills. They need better surgery coordinating. Why would a patient see an in network provider to have service rendered in out of network facility. Robbing and bamboozling the community. Who has insurance and is looking to pay $3K out of pocket.
Dr. David Rabin and his staff provided excellent service for my colonoscopy. professional on time and very personable. I highly recommend Dr. Rabin
These people are the worse everThey don’t care anything about their patients... well I can only speak about this particular doctor. They never order test but don’t follow up with results. You can’t get refills They are just the worse in every way STAY AWAY FROM THESES PEOPLE
My husband had a colonoscopy on October 22 2020. Despite a family history of colon cancer he still doesn’t know anything about the results despite numerous phone calls unanswered to the Stockbridge location. The receptionist at the endoscopy room was also very rude on the day of the procedure and her instructions were incomplete and nonsensical MAJOR attitude. We filled out a questionnaire after the procedure noting the receptionist problem but there has been no response. I guess they don’t care.
I like the experience I had the doctor and staff are very nice and Dr.Shakir is so nice and very calm

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
