Tried calling this office and all I ever got was an answering service the entire work day. I needed to make an appointment,then verify appointment times but no answer/getting through to his office.The doctor seems to be a good doctor, however, his admin staff, or whoever takes his calls,, hurts his reputation.

Very poor service. It is more than 3 PM and I am still waiting in the front for a 2pm appt. Had arrived 30 mins early around 1.30. I do not know how much more time it will take to see the doctor. I want to leave without seeing him, but I am scared he will bill me anyway. My Primary Care Physician had taken this appt.The office is shabby and the receptionist is overwhelmed by the many patients waiting to be seen.Add more staff.

I do not recommend anyone to use this place. My husband appointment was at 11:00 am we are still waiting as I'm typing. It is now 2:15. We haven't seen a doctor yet. There are also people who been here since 10:30 still waiting to be seen. But there is no wait to pay for the service. They make sure to take ur money when you sign in. The procedure takes about 2 hours. I guess we won't leave until 8:00 pm

I had a scheduled procedure at the hospital. On the day of the procedure he was already running behind, then two emergencies came in which ha me waiting even more time. I angrily gave him and his staff a piece of my mind and left after being there SIX hours!!!! He rescheduled me and switched to a different hospital without telling me. Finally, got to the correct hospital in time for a 10 minute procedure. His staff was rude and confusing. I will NOT BE RETURNING!!!

When I saw him 5 years ago, he was thorough. The medical staff was efficient. On the other hand, the front-office personnel was sloppy and the wait was long.

On 4/4/18 my original appointment time was 3:15, I was called several times asking me to come in early. I get there at 1:00 only to not be checked in until 2:30. After being rudely spoken to and waiting 5 hours to be seen, Dr. Okolo comes in pretends to exam me for 7 minutes tellinme I've had a stomachache and heart palpitations for 3 weeks because I'm hungry. Gives me a prescription for pain meds, and antacid and tells me to come back in 3 weeks. If you are sick this isn't the physician for you

This doctor is a scammer. I went for routine colonoscopy and ended up paying over $4K out of pocket with insurance which is more than the complete cost of this procedure including everything. He pocketed 8K from the insurance company, and unknown to me brought in 3 other out-of-network assistants that I had to pay out of pocket and the hospital was paid 20K. They all robbed the insurance company and me! This looks like obvious insurance fraud.

After being scheduled for a procedure at the hospital.. The office told me to arrive 2 hours before my appointment in which it was scheduled at 10am. We arrived at the hospital at 8am. By 12 noon the nurse informed me after asking for my doctor. He wasn’t there nor did he return the call back to the hospital or the office. After no call no show the best option for me was to leave not knowing when my doctor was going to come to complete my procedure.....No call saying running late nothing. Saddd

I called to a few new gastroenterologist as I experienced a flare up (which constituted in a emergency appointment). After waiting 2 hours and not being seen, I asked the nurse how much longer it would tak before th dr. came in to see me. She advised me he was in a meeting to hire a new person and would be right out. I was very disappointed to hear this as there were quite a few people after me waiting to be seen. I will never go back to this office or recommend.
