List of Pain Management Specialists's Reviews
I highly recommend Dr. B. He and his office staff have been helpful and nice over and above what is expected. He successfully relieved my 76 year old Mom's back and hip pain that no other Dr. could do. He and his staff made sure we understood what they were doing and allowed us all the time we needed to ask questions. We cannot say enough about how wonderful we were treated from the time we arrived to the time we left and the days after. They have been intouch to ask how she is doing and if we needed anything. We visited several other Dr.'s for this same pain and no one could help her. Thank you Dr. B. and all of your staff.
I had an outpatient procedure done on September 2, 2021. I was scheduled for a follow up for next week. I was given in writing that date and time of the appointment. I arrive 15 minutes early for the appointment on the scheduled day. I was placed into a exam room and left for an hour. Since I had a prior engagement scheduled, I ended up leaving because I could no longer wait. My appointment was very changed in the system from two until the hour I waited already. So I rescheduled the appointment for a couple days later. I arrived at the appointment only to find that the usual front office clerk was not sitting at her desk and was helped by another member who is not the nicest person I’ve ever spoken to. I was charged a co-pay for a follow up appointment. I sat in the waiting room and after 30 minute wait I was told that my appointment has been canceled and a message had been left the previous day on my answering machine. I looked at my voicemail and I never received a cancellation phone call. I was told that I do not need a follow up appointment although I did have a very tedious procedure and have not spoken to the doctor since. It’s this kind of retaliation from the staff members that could cost a person their health.
At least one doc, a Dr. Paul White, is opposed to the COVID vaccine and is very vocal about this through his social media outlets. He clearly states in this photo that 'masks don't save lives'. Other reviewers are saying that many employees do not wear masks in the office, so everyone please be aware that not only are there no masks, but the doctors might not be vaccinated and are exposing everyone they treat. I'm not sure I would want to be treated by a medical doctor who does not understand vaccines, viruses, etc., or has a general disregard for the CDC.
I’m fairly new to the clinic, this office is breaking so many state guidelines and cdc guidelines. My first incident was The NP prescribing the wrong medication. On my next visit I told the NP that she ordered capsules on the script then wrote 60 tablets.LaTonya the NP said ok .I didn’t have my glasses on that day when I signed for the scripts. When I picked up the meds , I was shocked because LaTonya made the same mistake again. I wasn’t sure why she prescribed the same meds, I assumed that she knew what she prescribed. The next month I went back to get an injection. The nurse that started my IV DID NOT HAVE ON GLOVES, Blood was dripping it got on her hands under her nails, I was so shocked, she went to get a PAPER TOWEL, not gauze to help stop the blood, it didn’t stop it kept running finally she applied pressure, still with NO GLOVES ON.When checking out ,the SECRETARY gave me my scripts ,this time I looked, they forgot to give me my monthly migraine script. The secretary call the PA to the front,She told me they do not prescribe that medication and if I had a prior script it wasn’t given to me from their office.I said that it most certainly was... the physician assistant told me about their paper trail back up system. She showed me the print out, she said look your prior dr, ordered it.... I saw another person signature and asked who was that person it was then that the Secretary told me it was LaTonya’s initials she didn’t order the meds.By that time ,I knew that they were covering up for Latonya... I told them that I still have the bottle. The PA said that they would NEVER order that meds along with my other meds I said that’s exactly what LaTonya did. The PA went back to the surgical side, but came back. She said you are right we are so sorry that should have never happened.I said that it happened twice. She kept apologizing then asked why didn’t I look at the script before I left on the last visit. I told her that I assumed that, LaTonya did her job and I didn’t have my glasses on then.Yesterday I had my LAST visit. LaTonya wasn’t so pleasant I didn’t understand why.. I said to myself maybe she was spoken to about the MED ERROR that she made not once but made the same mistake twice.I asked LaTonya to change my meds because the ones prescribed are to strong. She asked if the secretary called me to schedule more test I said I haven’t received any calls from the secretary. Then LaTonya said if we change your meds we have to TAKE the left overs from last month and DESTROY THEM. I said that was fine can I keep 1 just in case the pharmacy doesn’t have the new script. She said“ Oh they will have them I said are you sure, because when most of the pharmacies are out it takes 5-7 days before they get their supplies. She assured me that wouldn’t happen, WELL IT DID HAPPEN.. I left that office about 12:30 went to my pharmacy, they DID NOT HAVE the meds, I went to at least 5 pharmacies. I had to find a pharmacy on that day because THEY DESTROYED My other pills.I called back to the office, The surgical side picked up the same person that started my IV when I had my injection answered , the calls were forwarded to that side of the clinic because THE CLINIC was Having a BIRTHDAY PARTY for LATONYA....the surgical nurse said that they can’t come to the phone and what does she need to tell them.I said tell them to get a MORE EFFECTIVE SYSTEM , DESTROYING PATIENTS MEDS to avoid something like from happening again, she’s not so pleasant either .Practices should always be aware of who their patients are. I’ve been in the medical field for a very long time and I have family members that are OFFICERS OF THE COURTS....I have arthritis in my entire body, I had to drive for 5 hours going to different counties to find my meds.I’m DONE WITH that PRACTICE.One person wrote that they lie and cover up for each other. She told the truth. Please be aware. It’s so sad covering up only hurts them and the patients...
Upon entering the receptionist did not have a mask on not did the lady in the office but she told me I needed a mask so I went and got one came back and she was in lobby with mask on as I was standing there three more of the staff came out without mask on seems like a double standard in there responsibility to the patients this woman at the front desk is rude and she has a bad attitude I asked to speak to some above her about her and she said she was the person in charge what a joke she was friendly to her own kind as I sat in lobby I took notice of how she treated people it's a double standard to this measley receptionist but this is the way henry county has become haven't seen dr yet been here one and a half hour will follow up on rest of visit when and if I get through to the doctor
“Doctor” Paul White conducted his appointment with my 81 year old, oxygen wearing, grandmother without wearing his mask in the middle of a surging covid-19 pandemic. He claimed he was the doctor and did not need to wear a mask. He then mentioned the New Year’s Eve party he planned to attend.Don’t doctors take oaths to protect their patients?
I did not go here for pain management, I was there for a nerve conductive test ( I cannot remember the guy's name). He was so impersonal, indifferent, and a bit rude. He kicked the blow dryer across the floor, and appeared to be in a hurry. I felt as though I was an inconvenience rather than a patient. If he was that perturbed then maybe he should find another line of work.
Light traffic and good customer service.
My name is Ruth and Dr. White is The worst pain doctor i have encountered. I waited over an hour for him to speed talk to me for 4 minutes. I came today as a new patient. He did absolutely nothing. Ignored me and just did what he wanted. Why prescribe meds that I have used many times and never work, then insult doctors who prescribe other meds they think will work. What a waste of my time. Dr. Paul White is arrogant and cared nothing about me at all. I will never go back.
They have a very nasty attitude. Will not work with you, even if your in severe pain. My husband was having severe pain and due to financial problems this office would not set up payments to be taken out every 2 weeks. So my husband had to wait 5 weeks before they would see him for an injection . Even though my insurance covered the cost of this visit 100%. If you ask to speak to a manager they would tell you they were on the other line or not in the office today. They really don’t deserve 1 star but I had to put on for the review. My score for them is a ZERO!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
