Piedmont Healthcare's Online Review Report Card

Buyer Beware. On 8/18/25 I visited a Piedmont Prompt Care in Sweetwater, SC. Aiken County. I have visited twice in the last year fora Covid screening test. Both visits I was charged a $50 copay. My insurance copay for such visits is only $25. I was told that because the attending physician is coded as a "specialist" my bill was $50. These doctors coding brings in more out of pocket dollars from patients' pockets, not insurance carriers. GREED!!! It takes a for the nurse to swab my nose and have the "specialist" doctor come in and listen to my heart and chest, then look in my ears and mouth. Thank God it wasn't a Neurosurgeon on duty that day. CODING!!! is another word for SHISTER. I will not be going back to Piedmont unless a am unconscious. Hey, employees that get checked by the same doctor are also charged the same $50; that is of NO consequence to me. BUT do they have to pay it? Piedmont is WRONG for filling these PromptCare clinics with doctors are coded as specialists. But who care about the patient in healthcare; really? The lady today said this happens ALL OF THE TIME, and she would have a manager or supervisor call me back. Not holding my breath. SHAME!👎

Dr. Holcomb has shared some vile personal opinions via instagram. Though he is “free” to say this things a) I believe he’s done so while being paid at work b) has expressed hatred for what are most likely your patient demographics

It’s always the same two women at the check in counter when I go and they are light hearted and super sweet. Every nurse that’s ever gotten me ready to see the actual doctor has been very friendly and quick but very thorough. Then when the doctor comes in, for me, it’s usually Dr. S. Adams and I absolutely adore her. She’s so amazing.

Waited 2 1/2 hours at piedmont east side before walking out . That’s ridiculous

I was staying at Piedmont Columbus Regional - Midtown Campus. When going to the ER I only waited about 2 hours even though it was super busy, everywhere else would have been 6+ I got seen and my two ER nurses were fantastic, as well as my doctor. I unfortunately had to be admitted, i’m from Cleveland OH and just moved to Columbus. Cle hospitals i never really had a good experience so I was nervous. Every single staff member (special shout out to Shelby Smith) was so kind. from the doctors, surgeons, patient care techs, food staff, every single person treated me with respect, kindness, and care. They took care of my wounds and were always here quickly when hitting the “request nurse” button. I am sincerely grateful for the experience i had here. my other nurse Brandi Brundrick and patient care techs Michele were also fantastic. Thank you all for turning a bad situation into a better one by the staff and care I received

Piedmont hospital of Augusta is a bad place to work the director of operating Room is a Compulsive Liar Albert he curses at you talk to you any kind of way And Janice Travel manger Shaquille from HR is a Lair and lies for no reason then love state policy but when you read it nothing he says in there but write you up. They don’t investigate problem they go off one side they also falsified documents and I can go on for day and I have proof

Worst ran hospital I have encountered. A 11 year old could not visit a grandparent because they needed to be 13. As long as they are with a parent what is the issue? Also 2 people only in a private room, I would think that visitors would help with the recovery process!! I guess having the monopoly on care means $.

didn’t really feel comfortable here the lady that gave my ultrasound. Dark skin lady older woman was talking to my son crazy and I had to ask her do you have kids? She told me yes and I think she calmed down after that cause she was just yelling at him and telling him to stop remind you my son has autism so he doesn’t respond to stuff like that. He’s non Verba… If you do not understand, Autism at all, please do not speak on someone child… She wasn’t really nice at all, and I didn’t feel comfortable with her doing my ultrasound. I don’t even believe she gave me the correct answer when it came to how many weeks I am. I don’t know if this is the right place for me. I’m gonna give it one more try but my next appointment is a month away and I feel like that doesn’t make sense at all when I may need some Zofran. I also decided not to go here For my next appointment due to the fact, I called and figured out that I will be seeing different OB/GYN throughout my pregnancy and that’s just not for me. I just need one consistent doctor It’s probably a little overcrowded and not for me I just didn’t feel comfortable.

My hat goes off to the team at Piedmont Henry specifically in the Obstetrics department. Dr Jamieson is always very helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and you see how she demonstrates care. My experience with her was the best. When you visit you should ask to see her if you prefer a female doctor. Dr Timothy Brown is also a great physician to see if Dr Jamieson is not available.
