Get more nicer people to work with u not against u. Ur turning into So. Regional!! U stuck. Next time let people speak before ur sorry butt talks over them just because U don't like what was said.
After waiting 4 plus hours for a non Covid related problem….to be told by the snotty girl at the desk…it can be up to 20 hours…depending on what comes in on ambulances for people not breathing and since your mother is breathing she will be seen when we get to her is unacceptable. No compassion. Do yourself a favor…go to southern regional….go to Spaulding. At least they don’t treat people like crap! And just for the record my mother was there for chest pains and severe pain. This place is a joke and the rude staff are even bigger clowns. I will gladly drive to another hospital outside of HCO from here on out.
9 hrs in waiting room never saw doctor
2/19/21 I would have been a mother to twins. Due to Covid I had to give birth to my dead babies at home in the shower on 8/3/20. One had developed as I was almost 14 weeks along but he’d stopped growing at 10 weeks, one was an empty sac. A moment that will torment me forever. The feeling of him coming out. Holding him. Not knowing what to do with him. We weren’t allowed to cremate or bury him because there was no death certificate, which we could only get if I miscarried at the hospital or had a D&C. Piedmont Henry hospital in Stockbridge denied me a D&C because of covid-they said it was elective and would be out of pocket. I had to find another way to bury my son. I have a $10k medical bill after insurance for them to tell me to go home and miscarry “as many women have done for decades.” “It just happens” My heart aches today and especially on my due date not just for my babies but for the other women having to go through this during Covid. It’s hard enough to lose your child. It’s even harder to torment them with having to find a way to bury their child. Or charging them outrageous medical bills for doing only a blood test and ultrasound because a D&C “is an elective procedure” it’s not elective. I would have never chosen to lose my babies. I loved my babies and still do. Do not choose this hospital. This is the last of 3 times they have hurt me and my family. The first was diagnosing my husbands BROKEN IN 3 PLACES arm as “arm pain”. They had to call him back to put a cast on. The ER is atrocious in how they treat their patients between bedside manor and the mistakes that they make.
I just spent SIX hours there with chest, neck, and severe headache pain.....and I still don't know the results of my vitals, EKG, chest xray, or blood work! 😠 I had been standing inside the ER for three hours and sitting outside in the cold for the last three hours. The lady at the front desk had the audacity to ask why I wouldn't sit in that unsanitized, filthy, white make shift waiting room that had at least SIX people crowded in there and coughing......since I was already covid positive!?!? When I arrived, that room was looking like every homeless person in Georgia had been living in that small room! NO ONE even bothered to so-call clean it up until I complained! I will NEVER return to this ER for ANYTHING in the future! They had an elderly lady just sitting there in a wheelchair since 1130 am with no offers of food or drink! Since I am covid positive, I was unable to go and get her something to eat or drink...😥
I am currently in Piedmont Henry Hospital as I speak. I would like to speak to a case manager, nurse manager, and/or patient Advocate. I am in room 2171 - 2 East. The type of care and the refusal for doctors and nurses to manage pain, even when recommended, is ridiculous! I have been here 11 days, taken notes, pictures, times, etc of the type of care or lack thereof, I have been receiving.
This hospital sucks so badly do not bring your dog here
death trap....I wouldn't recommend at all
I fell at work and broke my femur 🦴 on Memorial Day 2019. I was taken by ambulance to Piedmont Henry, terrified of what would happen. I had knee replacement surgery at another Piedmont hospital in April 2012 and it was the worse experience of my life. I did complain and got a sympathetic letter in return. Needless to say, I was apprehensive going to another Piedmont facility. The two experiences were like night and day. The nurses at PH could not have been kinder to me. I’m a widow and all my kids live at least two hours from me, all with their own jobs and kids, so I was alone a lot. The ortho nurses are THE BEST. I did well and went home but I will never forget them. I would absolutely go back but I hope I never have to. I’ve been thinking a lot about the nurses since the pandemic started. I pray that God watches them, keeps them safe and sane, and blesses them. Thank you.
My son just left Piedmont Henry because he couldn’t pay a co payment for LIFE SUSTAINING testing for his cirrhosis! Now he will have to go downtown to get the testing done! I HATE living near a community hospital that does not take care of its people! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! His insurance carrier and JACHO will be contacted today!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
