1st time visting Great staff and service explains everything will return Meka was excellent and kind
Today the hygienist was exceptional! Glad I had her. Teeth feel so clean and fresh! No pain at all! ****1/10/24. Boy have things changed here!! I have been here in room 1 hr. Haven't seen hygienist yet! Now I have been asked to pay BEFORE being seen! What? Really?? Two other ladies just left and paid AFTER visit. Was it because I am white, and they were black in this ghetto location? I just don't understand??? Staff is nice, but the wait, etc. Wow! Also, restroom was out of order so one woman walked to grocery store to use!!!
Complete waste of time. Took off of work, and I spent half of my day in and out of the office trying to get a cleaning and a consultation for clear aligners, but their communication and willingness to help me figure out my insurance coverage with them was completely unhelpful. I arrived and they asked me for my insurance info. I said I had already filled it out online but they said they need it again. Time waste #1. Insurance benefits manager called us to his desk and said that our dental plan is not accepted. Time waste #2. I spoke with several people over the phone before my appointment day, and the most recent person in the call center for Coast told me (yesterday) that our specific plan is accepted. This employee proceeds to try and push me to go ahead with the exam and says they will go over payment options for self pay. I say no I don’t want to pay out of pocket. He pushes back again and says oh it’s just for an exam and they can give you different payment options. What did you not understand about me saying I don’t want to pay out of pocket?? Ok fine. I said I would keep my appointment for the clear aligners on the book for later that day and cancel the cleaning. I tell the front desk I need to cancel my appointment and she says give me just a second. I wait patiently for 15-20mins and realize she has forgotten me. Time waste #3. I drive back home. Came back a couple hours later for the consultation for clear aligners (Invisalign). After waiting 15mins up front, the tech takes me to the treatment room and asks what I’m here for. Seriously? I tell her that I just want the consultation for clear aligners. She says, like for what…just to see if you’re a candidate?” I’m confused at this point. Your website and google listing have ads plastered all over that say come in for a free consultation and we’ll discuss the aligners program. Do you know what services you are offering here? I ask her about my discount dental plan and she says oh I know that they won’t cover orthodontics. But my plan says it will give me a percentage discount on adult orthodontics. She leaves my treatment room for 15mins with no explanation. At this point I’m so done. I leave the room myself and go back to talk to the benefits manager. I kindly ask for his help to sort this out. He said oh yeah (by the way) I looked up this secondary discount plan of yours and they did not show you in the system. But I have an ID card and member ID. He says I need to call my insurance and have them fax over a benefits page. And why couldn’t he tell me this when I first walked in? Time waste #4. as I’m leaving I say ‘please figure out your communication here, because I’ve been here half the day after taking off work. I’m just really frustrated.’ They ask me what communication do we need to figure out? I summarized my frustrations again and they just stare at me like they don’t know what’s happening. The tech walks off. So I say well thanks anyhow and leave. Here’s time waste #5- I call my dental discount plan and ask about this dentist. They say yes they are in network and they will tell you what percentage discount you get after you show them a member card. They said, no one has called us from that dentist today to do a benefits verification. Wow. The dentist office wouldn’t take 2mins to call for benefits verification but tells me confidently that they checked and I’m not in the dental plan’s system. I can’t speak to the quality of care from the dentists and assistants here, but I can tell you 150% that you will waste time dealing with the front desk. Don’t expect them to be eager to help get your services covered by insurance. Expect them to push you to pay out of pocket and sell you on their products.
Staff was nice and very helpful. Talked with me about everything they are going to do before they started the work.
Great I just wanted to know if there was a way I could pay in advance in payments for upcoming services
Meka is the best.
Ms Meka was great!!! She made me very comfortable with sharing my concerns and finding a solution for my oral care along with the Dr.
This is the greatest dental experience of my life. The team makes you feel like family. I’ve been a patient for years and looking forward to many more Coast Stone Mountain is the BEST!!!
The Dentist and the hygienist are a great team. My appointment was smooth. I felt very comfortable during the entire visit. They explained everything in great detail. I feel satisfied and will return.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
