List of Shveta Raju's Reviews
I have gone to this Doctor for a number of years and my family have wanted me to leave her during that time. I stayed because I was on Obamacare and had little choice. I am also relatively healthy and just needed her when I had Bronchitis and blood pressure medicine refill. Every time I went to her she wanted me to have some type of blood test. I often refused because I did not think the test was necessary and because her nurse would literally beat my arm to take blood. I had her nurse clean out my ear once and she scratched the inside of my ear. As a result I now go to an ENT to get my ears cleaned out. More importantly, Dr Raju can not fill out prescriptions properly. On three occasions including my last visit, the pharmacy had to contact her office because she failed to complete the prescription correctly. On my last visit she demanded that I apologize to her because I refused to have another blood test done and I was upset that she refused to give me a 6 month prescription of blood pressure medicine as a result--which has nothing to do with the blood test she wanted me to do. She then told me that she was no longer willing to take care of me because I showed her disrespect by not following her orders. Finally, when she comes into the patient room she stands as far away from you as she can. She never comes close to you. She acts like you have the plague.
This is a horrible physician! I gave her and her staff a second chance after my first visit, which wasn’t the best at all. This MD was not friendly at all, was not thoroughly and barely wanted to see me. She attempted to take a $130 fee from me just to set ups physical for the next visit, which was absurd. I expressed to her that I will not pay her this substantial amount of money just to make another appointment as she only spoke with me for 3 minutes. Second visit, was suppose to be my mammogram as I expressed to her that I wanted during the first visit. I called a week prior to make sure that my appointment was correct. Come to find out, this MD did not respect my wishes and instead she underhandedly wrote an order for an ultrasound as I specifically expressed to her what I wanted due to family history. It was supposed to be corrected a week ago when I called. When I came today, not only the MD wasn’t there but she never signed the new order of my request! Finding another MD!

Guess I should have read the reviews. I left thinking that revenue was their primary focus too. Having no insurance, I was desperate for something to help me sleep. Dr. Raju only wanted me to come back for bloodwork. Refusing to write me a prescription. While she got paid, I had to leave empty handed. After watching the sun come up this morning before finally dozing off for a couple of hours tops, I'm still desperate for something that would help.
She can't even treat for even the most basic medical problems. She gives referral for everything
Worst primary doctor, she doesnt like annula physical. Wont even spent a minute with you and dont even do basic annual physical checks. Dont go there, please look for someone else.
Hands down the absolute worst primary care doctor I have ever seen. Zero bedside manner. In the year this doctor has been my primary care, has done zero to improve my wellness. Really good at farming you out to other doctors (i.e.. referrals) while making zero attempt to treat, herself. Regarding doctor/patient relationship and need for follow up, quote "Doctors don't call ". Daughter of owners of Gwinnett Clinic, so zero accountability. Don't be fooled by the impressive education. I was.
A for Dr. Shveta who has been my primary Dr, for the past two years and I am very satisfied with her as a doctor as she takes the time to fully explain and also allows your input about your condition she seems very professional and caring about her patients
I feel that the primary focus of this practice is revenue vs patient care and providing optimal customer service. Dr. Raju's bedside manner was pleasant and I felt that my initial visit was thorough. However, following my most recent visit, the follow-up care and response was mediocre at best and very dismissive and nonchalant. I will be seeking a new PCP and find this unfortunate and disappointing. While I know that there have been many changes to healthcare, concern should not be overlooked.
Went to a women's wellness check which is totally covered by my insurance. I told Dr. Raju that I only wanted the wellness check which was covered under my insurance. She assured me that she was only providing a wellness check as covered by my insurance. However, she order extra tests without my consent (Vitamin D check $220, and EKG $400). Additionally, she scared me by ordering an unnecessary ultrasound following my mammogram. Fortunately that was covered by my insurance. Guard your purse

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
