I've been seeing Dr. Bassil for about 8 years. The past 3 years, I've mentioned premenopausal symptoms, which he dismissed as COVID stress despite my age. When, in the 3rd year, I wanted to discuss hormone therapy, particularly because of links with dementia and my family history, he informed me that he doesn't really believe in hormone therapy. That would have been good to know before staying with him for these years. Anyway, if you're looking for someone to listen about your premenopausal and menopausal symptoms and to talk about pros and cons of hormonal therapy, this is absolutely NOT your guy. I will not be returning to Dr. Bassil.

The Best!! I wish I’d met Dr. Bassil sooner. He is hands down the best GYN I’ve been to. He explains things so clearly and in detail. There’s no rush, he spends adequate time and immediately makes you feel at ease.

The best - so grateful I came to Dr Bassil for the first time with a varied set of symptoms (some GYN, some totally unrelated) and a bunch of concerns -- he took the time to really listen and took me so seriously. I felt seen in a way that made me feel like he really cared about my well-being. He is the first doctor on this health journey who seemed genuinely motivated to dig deeper to figure out what was going on, and for that I am *immensely* grateful.

Dr. Bassil is irreplaceable! I have seen Dr Bassil for well over a decade. He is fantastic for anyone with a trauma history. He never makes me feel rushed, is always patient and gentle, and is so relatable and well-informed. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Amazing Doctor Dr. Bassil has been my gyn for several years now and I have always gotten the same care and concern from him. He listens and is attentive and beyond his bedside manner he is a highly educated doctor. He always goes the extra mile to find the solution to whatever you may have going on.
