Sharmin Banu Anam's Online Review Report Card

Terrible doctor! Went in for ONE reason: to get back on Ambien yet this doctor couldn’t prescribe Zoloft quick enough. Clearly these doctors are incentivized to put more patients on anti-depressants. Hello…I’m not depressed. Ironically another doctor in same office (Leah Tobin) did same thing 4 or so years ago when I was complaining about being tired and my throat area was sore. Thank God I didn’t trust her advice and did my own research/got my own blood work and it turned out I had hypothyroidism/Hashamotos and needed to get on synthroid.

Wonderful experience! She's an intelligent doctor,and the office and staff were exceptional, too!

If I could have given this Doctor a (0)zero I would. I did not feel like I was getting a comprehensive examination because she zeroed in on a medication I was taking or a false bias/assumption she has fabricated and blamed all of my symptoms on it without any concrete evidence, tests or facts. I couldn’t trust the diagnosis she gave me. I am very frustrated and will be seeking medical advice elsewhere. From what I have read and experienced is that most of the North Atlanta Primary Care doctors are subpar. Google your doctor so you don’t end up waisting your time, money and deal with extra unnecessary stress.

My wife went to see Dr. Sharmin Banu Anam at the North Atlanta Primary Care facility. It was her first visit with this doctor. Apparently she zeroed in on a specific medication my wife is taking and put the blame of my wife's symptoms on that medication. She would not listen to my wife's explanations, she made accusations I won't describe here. I've been going to NAPC for years and never encountered the experience my wife had. My wife left that appointment feeling extremely disappointed and is currently looking for another doctor to see. It was a waste of time and money. The symptoms my wife is experiencing had been occurring prior to the medicine Dr. Sharmin put the blame on, but wouldn't listen. So, from what I can tell, Dr. Sharmin is not only Rude, she is incompetent. Such a disappointment that NAPC has this doctor on their staff!

This is the worst doctor that I ever seen. Incredibly unprofessional. All she knows is flue, so if you have a simple flue I guess she can help, otherwise avoid her. I came with traumatic brain injury after the car accident, her only question was if I was drunk during the accident!!! What?! I never drive when I'm drunk and instead of asking about my symptoms and memory loss, she is asking stupid questions. NEVER AGAIN!

I am very pleased with this doctor. I find her to be very thorough and she is very easy to talk to. I respect her opinion and feel I am in very good hands!

Am a male, went in for a checkup. 1. She asked if there's any rash or pain in my groin region, I said no. Few months later, turns out a really obvious and common problem would have been noticed and identified a lot earlier had this doctor done her job during a basic checkup and not act like a little kid. 2. I requested for a hormone test in addition to a blood test. She told me her office needs to check with my insurance for coverage, but I told her it is covered so give me a prescription. She said no and I would have to schedule a second appt to get this done. Literally, the worst primary care I ever seen. Would never recommend this doctor.

Does not take the time to get to know me, was seeing her for 2 years and each time she walk in and introduce herself...was annoyed that it took her office two weeks to call regarding a recall on my medicine, which causes cancer...when I questioned her why so long she had no good response ad got an attitude, there was no empathy. I looking for me a new Doctor.
