I am someone that does not like to write reviews but I had an experience that made me write this one. My family and I have been taken care of by Dr. Makhlouf and Dr. Mincey for over 8 years (Possibly 10 years). This review is way over due! I highly recommend Sugarloaf Internal Medicine.If you're looking for a professional whose knowledgeable, treats you with respect, cares and knows the need of the patient while maintaining a highly efficient office, Dr. Makhlouf is someone I highly recommend! He and his staff are the best in the profession;1. Highly educated, knowledgeable and skilled in medicine2. They care about the patient - the patient is their #1 priority 3. A true Professional4. Great customer service 5. Bedside manner - positive, calm, thorough, attentive, flexible and personal. 6. Great staff! - the staff exhibit the same professionalism, customer service and attentiveness 7. The cleanliness of the facility is always IMPECCABLE! This place is the best of the best! C. V.

Dr Makhlouf is the best dr my husband and I have seen in our 57 years. He is thorough, knowledgable and has a great staff. When my husband started experiencing high blood pressure, he did not just treat it, but did many tests to determine the cause. He discovered and diagnosed a rare blood disease. If left untreated my husband would have experienced organ damage. Every oncologist and dr treating my husband has commented on how great Dr M was to even identify this rare disease. It is genetic and my husband's sister was then tested, diagnosed and being treated. He truly saved several lives.

The office staff are very friendly and professional. Additionally, Dr. Makhlouf is an excellent doctor. He is very knowledgeable and detailed oriented. Me and my entire family are patients of Dr. Makhlouf's and we are very pleased with the care that he provides.

Called to book a new patient physical as I am looking for a new primary care physician. The receptionist I spoke to was extremely rude and unprofessional. She couldnt hear me a few times and just kept saying "huh" and "what". I booked the appt because I was in hope the doctors were better but ultimately called back and cancelled it because it bothered me that much. Also Dr. Makhlouf who I wouldve liked to book with due to so many great reviews is not accepting new patients though there were 5+ open appointments online for the next day.

I had my first visit today. The doctor and the team are very professional. Dr. Makhlouf is very caring and knowledgable. He listens carefully to patients and understands their needs. I highly recommend the doctor and staff.
