List of Thomas Eye Group's Reviews
Great facility for your and your family's eye care need, even it is regular eye checkup, need of glasses or lenses or maybe any medical issues, Thomas Eye group offer wide range of services. I was very pleased with the level of professionalism shown during my visit to the facility. I recommend TEG for all your eye care needs. Kids and family friendly facility.
My appointment was at 2:40 and the whole process ended at 5 pm... I had to wait a long time but it was ok what it was not ok I had to wait more to get new glasses while the lady that was in charge of glasses took her time to discuss personal matters with a client, yes it's nice to be amicable but making other clients wait over personal matters is disrespectful, and when it was my turn she didn't want to look into insurance information. I didn't have a good experience.
Used to have good experience with TEG Suwanee but not this year. The waiting area was packed we had to wait one hour to begin the process. Optometrist no longer perform vision tests nor glass fitting, why do I pay more than any other places for service from assistants?
Team Dr. Jeffrey C are excellent workers, professionals, courteous and friendly; the warm welcome starts with the front desk team, their warm smiles and caring always stay in mind. Thanks for the great job and all you do in helping us see better. Keep up the great job ☺️
The front office staff were not very friendly or helpful. Upon arrival they tell you to walk over to the kiosk and check in. No friendly greeting or anything. Most of the staff there acted like they were not happy. The doctor and the services were fine, but the staff was not very welcoming! Not sure I would recommend.
DON'T GO. You will have heart attack just by calling them.Very frustrated about their team in Hamilton branch. I went there in June and they charged me $175 with an in network doctor. I called them twice (AND insurance company tried to contact them as well), and asked them to resubmit the claim correctly to Cigna so they can process again and pay for me; they never responded to our phone call. Now they are threatening me to collect the money through agency.Oh, and I called their billing team and they said they will talk to manager, and talk to insurance team, and talk to agency for further steps. So after almost 3 months, nothing is solved! Why is it so hard to communicate with client and insurance company when you are such a big company???
The doctor is good but they charged me fees that I didn't no anything about and sent it to Bill collectors, mind u my son was getting treatment at this location for years, and never had an extra bill.
This place is rip off . New patient charge for an eye exam is $290.00..Should be disclosed up front .with other tests the bill came to nearly $500.00..should have went to Walmart..highway robbery..stay away
I waited 30 minutes to be seen by anyone after arriving on time and there was no apology or acknowledgment of the wait. The "technician" or whatever her title is (she didn't say what her title/role is) was unfriendly acted like she didn't want to be there. Then I was then told to wait in the waiting area where I waited another 20 minutes before the test on some kind of medical equipment. I then waited another 30 minutes to see the Dr. Once I was called in, he cut me off several times when I was telling him about what other providers had told me about my eye conditions and treatments and when I pointed out the discrepancy between his advice and theirs (mind you one of my previous Drs is a Fellow and current President for the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) he said "well some doctors will say anything. It doesn't mean they know what they are talking about." How incredibly arrogant to imply that my previous Eye Dr of 6 years didn't have a legitimate reason for making recommendations or that there could possibly be honest medical disagreements. He looked at my eyes and left the room within 3 minutes. I know because I looked at my watch! He didn't say a word about me being a glaucoma suspect, as I've been told before. Additionally, I told him, the first person who examined me and also when I scheduled the appt, that I wanted a prescription for computer distance lenses. I told him *again* before he rushed out of the room and he said they'd have it up front when I paid. It was NOT there and I waited 12 more minutes while the person at the desk went back to get the computer prescription. She also left me standing there for 5 minutes to get a billing question answered. I was at their office a TOTAL OF TWO hours for a simple eye exam and NOT ONE PERSON acknowledged or apologized for the wait. I've waited less in ER Depts. The arrogance of the MD, the disregard of their entire staff for people's time, and the fact that my 3 requests for a computer distance prescription were completely ignored and then waiting 12 minutes without so much as a simple apology are appalling. They clearly think their patients' time is less important than their profits. And when I asked two people in the waiting area if they are always running this late, both said YES and one said "It's always like this. It's a nightmare." We'll I'll pass on going through such disrespectful treatment again. I filled out their requested survey as well. I hope they care enough to make changes otherwise why are did they ask for my opinion?? And why do they think it's OK to disrespect people like this already? I'm clearly not the only one with this experience.
Dr. Brown is a great optometrist. I wanted to especially call out Mildred in the Contact Lens department. She is a stellar ambassador for the office. She is always kind and expresses concern for the patient's needs. She is also extremely knowledgeable in her craft. If you are interested in contact lenses, make sure to visit this office for you exam and then visit Mildred for your fitting and ordering needs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
