11 years ago I had a RYGB surgery. The support, education and appointments prior to surgery were outstanding. I actually looked forward to going to Dr appointments. Surgery went smoothly, as did recovery and that comfortable, celebratory feeling continues, even now, 11 years later. Losing >200 lbs significantly improved my life in so many ways. Day to day comfort and ability to DO stuff as well as being able to really get into physical activities. Dr Johnson and his crew truly improved and extended my life. They are the best.

I don’t even know where to begin to explain how much I appreciate Dr. Johnson and his team. I been having medical complications over the years and I was recently diagnosed with diabetes, which is when I decided to take back my life actually do something about it before it was truly too late. I truly believe if it wasn’t for Atlanta Bariatric helping me throughout the process I wouldn’t be wouldn’t been able to start this journey to recovery my health. I highly recommend them, as they made the process very smooth and care about their patients. They are very professional and never had any issues with responding to phone calls or emails.

Dr. Johnson did my sleeve surgery June of 2022 and has been fabulous throughout this last year. I was diagnosed with colon cancer 6 months out from surgery and he has been supportive throughout this process as well. His staff is wonderful as well.

Dr Johnson has performed 2 surgeries on me during the last 8 years, the most recent a multiple hernia repair last week. He was very thorough explaining, had his surgical nurse call a few days later (hospital nurse called too). Had follow up appointment yesterday where he inspected the results. Don’t hesitate to choose Dr J. One of the more assuring things is that he personally knows and has worked together with both my primary physician and cardiologist. They understand one another’s diagnoses and treatments, and work them into your treatment.

Dr. Johnson has a great combination of being confident in his abilities and a kind person. I was somewhat apprehensive to have an umbilical hernia repair, but he was thorough in answering all my questions and reassuring me. I feel like new in that area about 6 weeks out from surgery. Thank you Dr. Johnson! I also wanted to give a shoutout to the rest of the care team, from anesthesia to the techs- everyone was super friendly and professional during a tough time!
