She's definitely not a warm and fuzzy type which is not what I was looking for in a dermatologist anyways. She is more "matter of fact" in her approach and does an excellent job. Bonus: she actually remembers what you do for a profession either that or uses notes as a refresher just prior to appt.

An outstanding doctor who conducts a very thorough examination and does appropriate testing when warranted. Always takes time to explain any findings. Could not recommend her more highly!

I had biopsies and removal of skin cancer. I was pleased with her efficiency and competency. The most important things you want in a doctor who is doing surgery on your face. She is warm and caring, which is a huge plus. I'm a repeat customer.

I was very nervous about putting my child on Accutane and she put my mind at ease. She is very caring ( even hugging me when I broke down) when I called with a concern, she got on the phone personally, I have never had a Dr. do that before. We are very thankful for Dr. Barnes and her staff!! They made a very difficult time much easier on both myself and my son.
