List of Carolyn Felton's Reviews
Two summers ago, I drove to Tifton to see a specialist as Albany doesn't have a doctor that specializes in rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Felton talked to me for around 30 minutes, and ordered blood tests...so far, so good. Maybe a week later, I received a bill from Tift Regional Hospital for $2000, ($1900 for the blood work!!). In shock, I had to sit down before I fainted!!! I called the hospital to compromise with them. I asked if I could pay an affordable amount each month ($50). I was told no, it had to be paid in full or an amount each month way over my budget. Talk about stress!! Whew!! Months later, I had a televisit (due to the pandemic) with a different doctor, as Dr. Felton was away. That visit went fine, but still nothing on my blood work. So, I'm really at a loss. But, no worries, the hospital is getting their money!
I wasn't going to post anything, but I had the worst medical experience ever here. I had so much hope going to finally see a rheumatologist. I waited years. Months alone for just this appointment. The first appointment seemed fine. It seemed like it was information gathering. The second appointment she didn't remember me. She didn't seem to have reviewed any of my outside medical information. She seemed to wonder why I was even there. Why doctors had referred me because they were stumped. It's almost as if there is something wrong with me. Not to her. She had no interest, no curiosity. I believe she ran a couple of tests to placate me, but it did no such thing. I asked her -- holding back tears -- where should I go from here? No guidance. She gave me a horrible bout of depression and I am still fighting it. No doctors (3 since this visit) have agreed with her at all. They still say rheumatology. I don't know how I failed. That's how I feel. I didn't present with nasty symptoms either day I saw her. It was already a burden to visit her. Maybe she only wants the simplest of cases, but if you go to her with intermittent issues, then don't expect any help from her.
Listen to patient and keeps you informed of overall health issues.
Very erudite, caring physician. Takes her time with patients. Treats the whole patient.
I had Dr. Felton for years and am still sad that she is no longer in the metro Atanta area. She is an excellent, compassionate physician. I can't find another to replace her. She is too far away for me to see her again and she does not accept my insurance plan. I'm so disappointed and wish I could have her as my physician again
Dr Carolyn Felton is an outstanding doctor. She saved me from having to go for another knee replacement.......I only wish I had known about her sooner and maybe I wouldn't have had to have the terrible surgery at Emory....they were good, but the recovery is hellfire. So, she saved me! Thank God for Dr. Felton!
Can anyone tell me where her practice is????? This Gainsville and Savannah never heard of her. Help!! She's the best.
I think she is one of the best Doctor's. I would never not want to see her for my pain. She is so understanding and would like to know where is she now. ð I am in so much pain. And I only trust her for my injections.
She was very understanding to my needs. I was a pill. Thank you
I was VERY happy with Dr. Felton. Unfortunately, after seeing her, I received a letter from Piedmont Physicians Group informing me that she was leaving that group. I liked her very much and would like to see her again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
