2021 Dr McNally has retired. When practicing he was a giggly skilled dr.

I been a patient with Dr. McNally since I was a young teenager. Im now hitting my soon 40's. He has been the most caring, easy to talk to and very informative and honest doctor. I was very comfortable with asking him anything. I miss that he no longer opens on Saturdays, but I wouldn't change my doctor for anyone else.

He was my Dr when I gave birth to my two sons about five years ago and he was so awesome I still appreciate and remember him five years later. Excellent Dr. I strongly recommend him.

Been seeing this doctor since I was 16, so for about 8 years now. Unlike other doctors I seen, dr. McNally cares. He's always pushing you to get tested (for example: if you're obese: diabetes, if you're sexually active: HIV testing and/or STD testing, etc.) encourages you to exercise and will make sure to call you HIMSELF if you should see him for a medical condition. (I was pregnant with my second, and didn't see him for about 3 months, he made sure to call me himself to see if I was: 1) ok 2) at least seeing ANY doctor to take care of me and my unborn child 3) if I wasn't seeing anyone else, to set an appointment and to be there!!) He's very straightforward and will not sugarcoat anything! I personally like that kind of doctor because it ENCOURAGES me to do better with my health. He's delivered both of my children (c section) and he did a great job, I had no complications. He's very thorough in the many things he does. My mom and my sister see him. The wait can be long at times, but he's a surgeon/ob/gyn. He's very busy. And like today, I had to wait 50 minutes, because he had to deliver someone's baby. If I had a problem with it, I'd find another doctor but, I'm very happy with dr. McNally! I trust this doctor and I really like his nurses! (Sheena and Tasha) the original nurses (Loran and Beth) did a great job training them. 5 stars for this doctor!!:)

I was referred to Dr. McNally by a friend who loves him, for prenatal care, since I was new to the islands and didn't have a doctor at the time. The first visit was ok, he seemed pretty knowledgeable and experienced, the office staff is great. All the following visits were not great to say the least. I always showed up on time and always had to wait at least 30 min to an hour and a half for visits that lasted about 10 minutes. On one occasion, I had the earliest morning appointment possible (sometime around 8), and it had to be rescheduled because the doctor had a delivery that morning. I showed up at the new time, and there were about 6 people before me in line and they all got to go in before me. Considering, I had to make it to work, such re-scheduling didn't seem fair at all. I waited for over an hour from my new time (ended up not getting out of that office till 1pm that day)!!! I also never got to ask any questions, it seemed like he would "do his thing" and be on his way. I had to follow him and try and squeeze my questions into the 30 second interval on my way out of the room, no privacy, no attention, no respect. I also never got any feedback on any of the test results that were ordered. I understand that I'm not a medical professional, but I sure would like to know what the heck is being done, why, and how it might affect my baby!! I didn't gain any weight in the first trimester, and when I finally caught up with where I should be in the second trimester, all I heard was "It's rotten, that you've gained so much in 4 weeks". Hello! I just caught up to where I should be, and since you're looking at my chart, you should know this, Mr. Doc, since you've been observing me from the beginning!!! Needless to say, I have no regrets switching insurance plan and getting care elsewhere. I give him two stars for knowledge and experience, nothing else.

As much as I would like to give a good review, I can't. I had been a patient for about 4 months during my pregnancy. Most of the times, I had to wait at least 30 min to an hour after my appointment time to see the doctor, and I he always seemed so rushed, I ended up asking all my questions while walking out of the office, which provided "0" privacy or confidence. Also, as many tests as were done, I never got any results actually communicated to me. I ended up switching to someone else.

Dr. McNally is the best OB/GYN. I from Maui for appointments. He is extremely thorough exam without rushing.
