Wonderful physician and staff.

Dr Cohen was once the preferred doctor for our family. However, over the past few years two things have changed. 1) A woman named Pam took over scheduling, returning phone questions, and so forth. She is uncooperative, rude, and impedes access to medical care for Dr Cohen’s patients. 2) While seeing Dr Cohen and his NP, my mom’s medical needs were not met. As evidenced by the following: Mom experienced declining health under Cohen’s care. We helped mom switch to a different doctor and she saw immediate improvement and overtime has maintained that improved level of health. If you live in Toccoa or Eastanollee, it’s more convenient to stick with the local doctor you know, but in this case, recommend you find a different doctor with a different office manager because this office is NOT here to help.

Loved Dr. Coan. But "Pam" his "nurse" / office manager is one of the worse human beings I have ever had to deal with. She enjoys, yes! enjoys making older women cry. She is rude, insulting (will tell you and everyone with in hearing distance that "you have enough fat!"), bitter, unhappy, mean, condescending and just unpleasant. I have changed doctors and will tell everyone I know to avoid Dr. Coan, solely on how MEAN Pam is! Yes, I cried in the office. Yes, I'm not the only woman who Pam has been so mean to that they cried. I can't even get test results without speaking to this horrid woman. She doesn't believe anything a patient says. She thinks she rules the office and acts like she is the physician. I'm honestly not even sure she's a nurse. If you would like to have someone be rude, insensitive, mean and condescending to you, schedule an appointment with Pam, I mean Dr. Coan.

My father has been a patient of Dr. Coan's for years and has always liked him, however, his nurse Pam is the rudest, coldest and most inconsiderate person in the medical profession I have ever encountered. Registering a complaint does absolutely not good at all. Spoke directly to her and she would not take responsibility for her rude behavior. I will give her credit for one thing...she is consistant ......with her rudensss.

Dr Coan is an excellent doctor but unfortunately his nurse Pam does not come across to many people as a very nice person. This is out of character with all of the other very pleasant staff at the clinic. She acts as if she is a very unhappy lady with problems at home.

He has the rudest, most uncaring creature for a nurse that I have ever seen anywhere in the medical world!!! Why does he continue to employ some one like that!?? I will never go back there!!!

The office nurse is rude, disrespectful and hateful.She harasses my mother during office visits.She will not call in medication ordered. My mother dreads going to see Dr Coan. She (nor any other patient) deserves to be treated badly--this is intolerable and inexcusable. Although many complaints have been made to Dr Coan and the administration of Toccoa Clinic about this particular staff member, nothing has been done. My mother will be going to elsewhere.

Suggests and tries to manipulate families to putting their loved ones in nursing home, even when it is not necessary! Heartless Doctor!
