List of Sage Dental Of Tucker's Reviews
BYE! I went to Sage Dental (corporate chain dental office) every six months for 3 years. I had the same hygienist every time, and while she was lovely, the front office/billing absolutely ruined any sentiment of goodwill I had. I had a HMO dental insurance plan through my employer and unfortunately that meant I was locked into Sage Dental and could not go elsewhere if I wanted services covered. (The insurance plan also was not great and my options were very limited anyway.) Despite my benefits packet stating that biannual cleanings were covered at 100%, every single time I came for a cleaning I paid over $100 out of pocket. When questioned why that was the case the front office was vague and did not provide me with a clear answer. Of course, the bill was always presented AFTER the services were rendered so I couldn't decline to pay for things. I spoke to many, many friends and family and all stated that they do not pay anything at an annual cleaning so they had no idea why I was being presented with charges. I had a sensitive tooth for over a year and asked what we could do and was told I should just rub sensodyne toothpaste on my gums and it would resolve the sensitivity. Spoiler: it did not. On my last visit (the 6th or 7th time in a row as scheduled every 6 months) my hygienist looked at all of my teeth and then told me that unfortunately she could see that I had gum disease and would need a deep cleaning that would run me several hundred dollars. Are you serious? I'd been seeing her every six months on the dot for the last 3 years and suddenly I have gum disease when 6 months ago and every other time before that I was fine? I politely told her that actually I needed to cut the appointment short because I had somewhere to go and could not stay and that I'd call back. I never went back and just ate the cost of my dental premiums for the rest of the year. I finally got off that insurance plan and on to another one and got in with a non-chain dental office. My new dentist performed an exam and said that I don't have gum disease. In fact he said that actually my teeth are in good condition, and that my one sensitive tooth is like that because it is rotated and in a bad position and has unfortunately progressed in a way that my nerve is exposed and that my options down the line if preliminary treatment doesn't work are going to be either a gum graft or a root canal. If it had been addressed in a timely manner it could have been halted but now I just have to hope for the best in desensitization because it will never go back to the way it was without either one of those procedures. I'll never recommend Sage Dental to anyone. Stay away.
Good Customer Service. Please send update information request by email prior to visit
Made an appointment for a root canal (11am) and filling (10am). When I arrive they didn’t mention that the 10am appointment was not really needed until I inquired about my wait time 45 minutes later. I was then told that the 10 am appointment was not needed. The office manager was rude. At 11:15 I was told I would be seen shortly. I was not escorted to the back until 11:31. I immediately asked if I would have to wait more in the back and was told it would another 45 minutes. Please book with caution and a lot of time to spare!! Even for my consultation I had to wait quite a while. Definitely do not recommend this location or business.
Great and quick cleaning
Great service much better on the last visit!
Sage Dental, office staff friendly. Making an appointment doesn’t mean you will be seen, if unable to pay in full. I went in for abcess on the gum. It was explained to me I needed deep tooth cleaning. The hygienist was rude, she said you take too long to clean. When asked for more pain injections, she stated your teeth hard to clean, I have a lot to clean. That’s why I’m here for your assistance. The dental assistant was pleasant and friendly.
If I could give them negative zero I would. They charge a "facility" fee for HVAC Air quality. Think about each patient paying this fee individually? They also purposely schedule an initial visit where they DON'T CLEAN YOUR TEETH So you will have to schedule Another appointment and pay a copay.
Dr Chad and everyone in office are 5 star, Great customer service. I did email quality assurance Department 8 days ago with a question and have not received a response after 8 days??

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
