Friendly staff
Very insensitive to the pain of my needs. FOR A DR THAT SPECIALS IN THIS FIELD HE SURE DOESNT KNOW OR CARE OF THE PAIN THAT HIS Patiences are in.
The first Colonoscopy was done by the Veterans Administration. It was a Nightmare. Dr. Ward has prefected this procedure. It is Quick and painless. The nurses and staff are both professional and Courteous. He goes into detail about the procedure, his findings, and treatment plan. He has my Gratitude and t Respect.
I called to schedule an appointment for my annual colonoscopy and was told that I had missed an appointment in August, which I called an cancelled because I had surgery on my hand. Now I was told he no longer wanted to see me. Really? You DO NOT treat people this way! So....needless to say I am not happy at all with this Dr.
Update: I wrote a negative review of my first experience here. I didn't feel like I was listened to by a NP. Today I came back in dreading it but he fully listened, explained, and ordered tests that he felt were necessary. I feel hopeful now. Thank you for listening to concerns & responding professionally.
I have a liver disease and been to other Dr s in Valdosta. It's a autoimmune liver disease.I never really liked the other two. They never listened or try to help me.Dr.Ward has already helped me more than both of them.He does know what he's talking about. If you need a gastroenterologist Dr.Ward is the right person.I'm so glad he took me as a patient.Thank you Dr.Ward
Where do I start? After 4 phone calls to the scheduler Teresa Kincella I finally got an appt for my procedure. On the day of my procedure it took 3 different nurses to administer my IV. Then Karen Moseley walks in very rude and uncompassionate woman in that endoscopy center. People look elsewhere.
After visiting this office I will NEVER go back. Dr. Ward is very uncompassionate. The WORST bedside manner I have ever seen. My problems were not addressed and I am still suffering to this day. The so called insurance clerk there told me my insurance was in-network but then turns out it was not and I have been stuck with a big bill. The staff is rude and too busy to answer any simple questions. Anyone looking for a new gastro doc LOOK ELSEWHERE!
He was not very compassionate to me as a patient that had been suffering with nausea for a year and wasn't very informative.. Staff was rude and too busy. If u don't have insurance watch out...I went back for follow up from a scope and the girl wanted to charge me 150.00 and I told them no I wasn't paying that for MY RESULTS and they could just call me with results...Of course Dr saw me but then turned around and Billed me the 150.00... Very unprofessional...I lost almost 30 lbs in short period of time and he just shrugged it off...Very disappointed..
On the plus side, he is very punctual; I was only in his office for 45 minutes, from the time I arrived to the time I checked out. That said, he appeared to have little interest in listening to my symptoms. It's so hard to find a doctor in this community who will actually listen to the patient. If they would just take the time to listen, the patient will tell them exactly what is wrong. I'm starting to believe that the only things American doctors do well are boob and butt enhancements.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
