Working with Dr. Clifton and his staff for my hysterectomy has been an absolute smooth and seamless process. Each time I’ve seen him I felt like I had his undivided attention and he never made me feel rushed. All of my questions were answered, and if I ever needed anything else I could reach out to his nurses and always received a response by the end of the day, if not sooner. I have never experienced a long wait at the office, nor sat around waiting days for return a call from his staff. Whatever logistical process they use in that office, it needs to be patented and sold because it is second to none. I have been in the healthcare field for over 10 years and working with Dr. Clifton, his staff, and the OR staff at Southwell was so refreshing and renewing. This is what healthcare should be.

Dr. Clifton is amazing! His quiet, reassuring, demeanor makes you feel at ease. He says few words but let’s you vent, ask questions, and if you don’t he will ask for any. He has seen me through 2 D & C’s and finally a complete hysterectomy. When I was afraid or concerned he would reassure me that he would take care of it. I have complete adoration and mad respect for this Dr. You won’t find too many Doctors like him!! Thank you, Doc, for all you do!!!

Not often do you see a doctor that quickly feels more like a family member. From the first day I visited Dr. Clifton after getting a positive pregnancy test to my most recent visit at 6 weeks postpartum, I have felt cared for, listened to, and guided along as if I were family. I’m so glad I chose him to be my doctor throughout my pregnancy. Every question I had through the 9 months was answered patiently and thoroughly, without feeling like I was being rushed or judged. He performed my c-section perfectly and prepared me wonderfully. I was a nervous wreck that morning, but his calm nature helped me settle down just in time to meet my beautiful baby girl. He not only showed compassion for me but he also made my husband feel comfortable in the delivery room and appeared to be in awe of my little baby, even after countless other deliveries. My recovery has been a breeze thanks to the wonderful job Dr. Clifton did in the operating room. I will forever be grateful for him and I can’t imagine using anyone else.

Absolutely amazing! I’ve used Dr. Clifton for 23 years and he is so kind, compassionate, and caring! He’s more like a family member when he is asking how you are doing because he genuinely wants to know. Such a good doctor!

Dr. Clifton performed my robotic/laparoscopic hysterectomy recently and I can’t recommend him enough. He is caring, knowledgeable, approachable, and took the time to answer my questions throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Dr. Clifton & Southwell OBGYN!

I love it here ,the minute I drive up to the parking lot I can actually feel the serenity of the entire property. I love that each patient room is a suite. Dr. Clifton is the Best when it comes to his care and concern of your needs. Mammogram is never pleasant but the Lady that does them her spirit was unbelievable.

Dr. Clifton has been my doctor for years. He was there when my husband and I struggled with fertility. He was there when we had a miscarriage. He was there when our son was born. And, he was there for me when I had my hysterectomy.During each situation, he gave so much care and compassion. I will never use a different doctor!

I have been seeing Dr. Clifton for 20 years now. He came highly recommended to me by a dear friend when I first moved to Valdosta. I am so thankful I took her advice!! He is the most kind, caring, and patient doctor I’ve ever been to. He helped me through many tough years of battling infertility. He delivered my twin boys and my daughter with no complications. I have undergone laparoscopic procedures and a hysterectomy under his care. Through it all he always made me feel at ease and genuinely cared for. I never feel rushed with him and feel comfortable asking him anything. I recommend him to everyone and I give him my highest rating!!
