I waited in the waiting room for over 2 and a half hours after they had the nerve to ask me to come in 30 min early for paperwork. And it’s not like my appointment was late in the day. It was at 1030 am. They seemed to have overbooked on purpose. When I mentioned my wait time to the receptionist, she actually laughed. Go to someone else.
Terrible experience. I had an 11 AM appointment, which I arrived at 10 mins early. After waiting 1.5 hours, I checked back in with the receptionist and was informed that there was 1 patient ahead of me. As I continued to wait another patient checked in with the receptionist and was informed that their typical wait time was 1 to 1.5 hours. My question is why schedule me at 11 if your typical wait time is 1 to 1.5 hours? Finally left at the 2 hour mark, still having seen no one.
She was the first gastroenterologist that succeeded. She is pleasant to deal with, listens to questions and patiently answers.
Friendly staff, answered all of my questions and concerns and made me feel comfortable about my procedure.
I waited 5 Weeks for an appointment, just for them to tell me call "this person" in 3day for another appointment. Now I have to wait even longer to figure out why I feel like garbage and struggle to eat anything! No helpful advice or anything!
The worst Customer Service I have ever had in my life. I felt totally disrespected and will never step foot in that office again.
The Doctor is at her A game. Her know is vast. She does not rush the p thru the patient thru the appt. wants to know as much as possible re: the patients home life, work life, and symptoms. I would recommend Dr. Castellano to my family and friends.
Will never go back to her she perforated my bowl 3 times during a colonoscopy and had to have emergency surgery and they had to remove 75% of my colon because of her being in to much of a hurry with having 14 procedures in one day and was late for mine by 2 hours if I could give no stars I would she really messed me up.
I had an endoscopy and all went well. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy the next week. Took the day before to prep. I followed the instructions and drank the magnesium citrate to begin the clean-out process. AFTER consuming a whole bottle I was informed by office staff that my insurance didn't approve the procedure due to coding errors. I spent the rest of the day and night in unnecessary uncomforableness. I wish someone would have called me to let me know BEFORE I drank the magnesium citrate. To top it all off I show up for my follow-up a couple of weeks later to be told by the receptionist that one of the nurses had canceled my appointment. Would have been no problem IF someone would have called to let me know. I do not recommend this practice because of the lack of follow-up of the nursing staff. The least they could do is call a patient if there is a problem, that's their job!
TERRIBLE!! After 5 years and countless hours of wasted time one of my other doctors referred me to see an excellent GI Specialist way out of town at a much better hospital!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
