List of South Georgia Medical Center's Reviews
Good Customer Service, friendliness and Professionalism, staff members are care about the people who comes to this Clinic. The Doctor I saw is very hands on and professional, listen to his patients. I was filled with joy after my visit, I felt great. So if you need a Primary care physician just give'em a call or come in.. They CARE!!
Dr. Hobby is always attentive to details and takes the time to make sure your understand the issues.
Doctor A.Johnson &StaffYou are and were a wonderful friend to Jeffery Your Care provided for the lsat 5 years of His Life was the best. The minute we stepped in the door he was in good hands. Everyone took such great care of him.Your Professionalism and unwavering support will always be appreciated and remembered. Thanks so very much 💙😇Susan Alvarez & Family
Don't expect to get a call back from Dr. Fricker's office. The president of the US would probably give you a call back before this office would. And then after months of this, they finally tell you that they won't see your patient, meaning they've utterly wasted your time and the patient's time. Ugh!!!!
The nurse, or medical assistant, Melissa, for Dr.Evans, is very rude.
I've been trying to get a simple questioned answered by Dr. Evans, who placed 2 stints in me, but can't get any further than his nurse/secretary. I've moved away from Valdosta and now have a different cardiologist who wants to take me off a medication that Dr. Evans told me I would take for the rest of my life when he prescribed it to me. I have to call over and over and leave messages for someone to call back, and the few times I have had his nurse call me back she doesn't even remember my previous calls and the fact she has said each time she would speak to the doctor and get back with me, which she never does. My advice is to find another doctor who is less busy and can find the time to answer a simple question for a patient, or its possible his employee's do not get his messages to him. In either case, I recommend you go somewhere else.
My wife and I have been patients at Valdosta Medical Clinic for 20 years. Our primary care manager is Dr. Hobby. We have always received good care. I recommend this facility friends and family.
Not me but hundreds of patient's have been around me that have complained of prescriptions not being phoned in, Dr's not spending time to hear them out but they have to be sure there Bill is taken care of. I worked there as Dr.UNDERWOOD'S NURSE, I can assure you usually it's the administration that causes this, they're some doctor's that could lead but, Underwood, Brady, and Hobby are very caring and honest, don't abuse them. Look into the administration for most of a company's issue's.
This place is a mess. They need to stop accepting new patients, because the doctors have to rush you through to get to the next one. They're extremely over booked and cannot give you the full attention you need. Also, they make you give your medical history in the same room as another patient, no privacy screen or anything. What about HIPAA?They do not think ahead in running their practice, I've had to fill out paperwork with my current information every time I've been in. And even though they have those multiple paper copies, when switching over to a new computer system, they couldn't be bothered to pull that information they already had, they are making EVERYONE fIll out new paperwork, again, and consequently appointments are an hour or more behind schedule. Furthermore, they schedule more appointments for you than are necessary, I'm assuming to make as much money as possible. My GI also admitted that it was not necessary (or quite legal, his words) to put me completely under for a procedure, rather, I should have been consciously sedated. I'm sure I'll be paying out the nose for that extra anesthesia. And then, my "4-6 week" follow up for the procedure was scheduled for FOUR MONTHS later, because that's the soonest they could get me in. See what I mean? They should not take on new patients if they can't actually SEE them.I'm currently more than an hour over my appointment time with my GP (which I arrived to 20 minutes early) while writing this, and after today, I will not be back.Update, I was just told after waiting so long that the doctor wouldn't be seeing me today and that I could reschedule. Fat. Chance.
Worst ER ever!! When a 79 yr old man with a heart condition, on blood thinners, comes in because he can't get bleeding to stop from a procedure done earlier in the day, it should never take 5 freaking hours to see a Dr. The people running this hospital should have to go to the ER like regular folk and get a taste of what the rest of us go through when we visit their crappy hospital!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
