This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had under such unpleasant circumstances in any ER. Being a medical provider as well, I can honestly say every aspect of our experience was first class. My son had an injury to his mouth and I was concerned about it needing stitches so I contacted my dear friend and colleague Mandy Smith, PAC. She agreed and immediately began making calls and notifying the staff that we would be heading to SGMC. Mandy was an angel in coordinating our care and reassuring us we would be in the best of hands! She contacted Marc Globerman who was awaiting our arrival and so very helpful in acting quickly to get us the help we needed. All of the staff were so understanding, helpful, and comforting during this tragic time. My son had a terrible reaction to sedation when he was an infant so we were naturally apprehensive about giving sedation again to suture his mouth; however, Dr. Mucciarone and Dr. Edgerton were very knowledgeable in helping us understand all the mechanics of the medication and how our son would or could be affected. They consulted and felt it best to move forward with the procedure. They were both present for the procedure and worked together as experts in their field to ensure everything went according to the plan. They treated us like family and were so patient with us. Special thanks to Hunter Clanton, Jessie Faulkner, Jason Langley, & Luke. Each one made sure we were well taken care of during our visit. I felt such confidence leaving our son (for the few minutes we had to step out) in their hands. Lesha Wimberly was an angel, and sat by my side while I waited for the physicians to complete the procedure. I will be forever grateful for their kindness, respect, and care they provided my son and our family during this time. We will highly recommend this ER to others!

Always a great experience with SGMC. They have always treated us very well and taken great care of myself and family during our stays!! The labor and delivery is especially amazing. As well as the ER!

I had a stress test scheduled at 8:45am. I was told not to eat anything 3 hours before, which meant 5am. Needless to say, I couldn't eat breakfast... thinking I would be home by 9:30, since I was told that it would take only 30 minutes and I live 5 minutes from the hospital. You didn't start the test until 10:20. I was light headed and felt weak. When I said to stop, I was then told that I needed to do 3 more minutes. When I got home, I felt like I did after my hysterectomy 10 years ago. You need to stay on schedule for stress tests... when they are scheduled early mornings. I don't think my results will actually indicate accuracy. I don't EVER do anything physical before I have breakfast and I ALWAYS eat before leaving home in the morning.

All the ladies are super friendly and super helpful. I've been dealing with SGMC for months now and a couple of non invasive surgeries. Every person I've come in contact with has been amazing!

Everyone was really kind and considerate. The staff Kay is a really good example of making patients feel as comfortable as possible while being wired :) Nice clean and fresh rooms to be in during testing.
