Accordia Urgent Care's Online Review Report Card

***ATTENTION FOSTER PARENTS*** If you have a foster child who does not have a physical insurance card (placement letter and insurance number will not suffice for this establishment), you will not be seen unless you pay out of pocket. My infant fell Ill on a Sunday and to avoid the emergency room that is filled with children that have RSV, we took them to Accordia. We immediately disclosed that they are our foster child, but we have their paperwork available and their insurance information on hand. We were told that they would have to scan the front and back of the card, but the front desk would call their boss and see what could be done. She called me back and said before I go forward with completing the new patient form, Accordia would not be able to assist with filing this visit on the insurance without the physical card and her boss stated that “rules are rules”. Foster parents typically do not have these physical cards or the child’s social security cards. We are given a state-issued placement letter that provides these needed details. We then proceeded to the emergency room for treatment. Surrounded by children with RSV. The registration clerk asked for our Foster child’s name and birthday and once I tried to provide her with their details for insurance, she told me no worries, she could look it up in the system. It is 2023… most doctors' offices can look up the details or simply accept the insurance information without having it physically scanned. It’s a shame that a child whose details cannot be physically provided due to their situation will be turned away, but HEY! Accordia did state they were willing to give a generous discount if we wanted to pay out of pocket….

Doctor Ryan is awesome. Went in for back pain and he took the time to do an xray and make sure I was ok.

Please do not get a DOT physical from this place. My husband was just failed twice. They have 1 person there that does them and she failed him saying he is on medication he shouldn't be. LIE! Then we contacted HR and they sent us back to try and explain the error w medicine. She failed him again saying he has tremors and that he admitted to being an alcoholic. LIE! He has a DOT physical from another Dr office but his company wanted him to go here. The other Dr that passed him didn't notice any tremors or slurs in speech, etc that she listed. He has a freaking speech impediment. He stutters and it's worse when he is stressed. Bc of this she said he is mentally unstable. This woman will ruin your life. Please save yourself money and go anywhere else. We will be filing a lawsuit since she caused my husband to lose his job. she is listed as a nurse. Guess that makes her a psychiatrist and medical Dr and therapist all in one. If you go through the reviews you will see another person mention what they did to him on his DOT physical.

Called them to ask about my perception and was rudely handled and was really put off like they did not want to waste time on my questions and put me on hold for 20 to 30 minutes and then hung up on me. When I called back it was the same woman and when she heard she gave the phone to someone else who did not seem to want to help me much either and when I was done with my question she quickly hung the phone on me. I like coming here cause the staff and doctors are really nice but who ever is in the front desk on Monday, April 17 2023 around 10 o’clock to 10:30 you make me not even want to come for a visit. Just as you made it seem like you have no time for me, I have no time for you.

$540 for a sick child visit! Place is a total rip off. Parents beware!

This is the best urgent care office I ve ever visited. I was seen very quickly and the staff are very professional and compassionate. I would recommend to anyone. Great Job ladies.

Care is great - just wish I didn’t have to make repeated calls to get my prescription called in to the pharmacy. That’s aggravating. Otherwise I think the service is great.
