Alison Wright's Online Review Report Card

Dr Wright did not rush me in and out! She listened to all my concerns & answered all my questions. I am happy I found a female GYN Dr. who cares.

I googled African- American doctors and Alison Wright came and happened to be on my in-network list so made an appointment. She’s non African-American. I need a listening doctor. The appointment was for an annual and to just check all my bloods levels and also to get something to help me with over eating. Well this visit turn out to be the visit from hell. First of all she comes in with backwards information. I had to correct her a couple of times which seemed off. On the intake form I listed how many pregnancies I’ve had full term(nothing else)... didn’t include that 2 of my kids was adopted at birth. She comes in and make a comment that I have my hands full. All of my kids today are young adults. I find that disrespectful. She kept being sarcastic. I can’t deal. My blood test came back and my blood was very low and no vitamin d in my body. Alison Wright called and inform me how dangerous and serious it was but refuse to give me 3 day leave letter until the meds were in my system.

I rate my visit 0% stars. She lack a listening ear. Slick insults is what I experienced. Quick to put W.O.C. on birth control without considering bone loss later. Please search for doctors with 5 stars. I regret this visit.

Such a great Staff and DR Allison Wright is the Absolute Best! Her team did such a great job my entire pregnancy and I was so thankful that she took care of us as well as the ER nurse at Houston Medical 🏥

Dr. Wright is great and open to talking you through your problem. She helped me when I didn't even know I had a problem to deal with till I saw her. Very grateful for her experience and knowledge.

Don't accept self paying new clients

Dr. Wright is awesome. Very accommodating friendly staff great location on Osigian.

Office staff were very pleasant on this visit. PA Cathy answered all questions and was very helpful. Got in quickly.

I have been going to Dr. Wright for many years and she is wonderful! She makes you feel at ease and is very personable and takes her time to answer my questions. I highly recommend her and I hope she never retires!

I won't be going back here, but I have to give it a three star because of the actual healthcare I finally received when I got back to the nurse practitioner was very useful. In just making an appointment, I had a sassy receptionist that made me repeat all of my information literally four times before I even got to setting up an appointment time. That did not inspire confidence from the outset. When I made it into the appointment, the nursing assistant, "Brenda," that took my weight and blood pressure was not only sassy but downright rude to me. When she finished taking all the vitals and initial symptoms, she shoved a paper cover at me and told me "Go get undressed." When I asked her what would be going on (I've never been to a gynecologist before today) she got this disgusted look on her face and said "How old ARE you? You should know this! It's all comin' off today!"The actual nurse practitioner that I had though, was lovely! Completely understanding and willing to sit and answer any questions I had and explain what she was doing. So, overall, it was a so-so experience- having to fight through the ill manners to get health care didn't do much for me.
