Unlike other patients I was not as impressed with Dr Smithson as he was with himself. He attempted a spinal tap without any local or general pain medication. The pain was excrutiating . The procedure was stopped without any fluid being drawn or anylized. On my next office visit with him, he informed me that I was the worst patient he had ever seen and that he didn't care what two other hospital scans, one in Fl and one in Ga, and another specialist had diagnosed, there was nothing wrong with my head or my lower back. Then I started receiving bills from his office. All were different amounts. One was for his nurse practicioner and one was for himself on the same date.

Dr.Smission is very knowledgeable and Staff are very friendly. Beth (PA) is also very knowledgeable and friendly. They make a great time. Outstanding care!

Dr admission relates extremely well with me and he makes me feel like a real person. He is a doctor that I will recommend to anyone. I believe that his advice is very sound and filled with lots of love.

If I could give Dr. Smisson 10 stars, I would. I spent two years on a walker with back and leg pain. Went to a neurosurgeon who began talking rods and pins in my back. No way! For a second opinion, I called Georgia Neurological and was given an appointment with Dr. Smisson. Because I have RA, he didn't rule out the rod in the future but said it wasn't necessary now. I had same day surgery and everyone has been amazed at how well I have done. Dr. Smisson gave me instructions that I followed to a tee. Today, I am able to do things I never thought possible again. He was definitely a hero for me and I would recommend him to anyone willing to follow instructions to help themselves.

Not helpful at all. Still hurting and keeps telling them this . And they seem to think I'm not telling the truth. Will never let him to sure again!

THIS DOCTOR HAS A HORRIBLE INFECTION RATE. CARES NOTHING ABOUT ANYTHING EXCEPT MONEY. HE OPERATES ON ANYONE. THE PREVIOUS PERSON THAT LEFT A GOOD RATING HAS OBVIOUSLY NOT BEEN OPERATED ON BY HIM. YES IS SMILING CUTTING UP WITH YOU, BUT DONT TRUST THAT . RESEARCH FOR YOURSELF BEFORE MAKING THAT LEAP. THIS DOCTOR IS NOT A GOOD CHOICE

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Smisson and his staff. They were all wonderful and treated me like family. I recommend them to everybody I know with back problems.
