Dr. Barakat has been great for my Grandmother and now is seeing my mom and has been positive. However the administration staff in the office in particular Helen could use some training in phone etiquette and EMPATHY. I called the first time with a serious issue and she sighed heavily TWICE while i was explaining the situation over the phone as i f i was inconveniencing her, and the second time i called an hour after to let her know i am in fact overseas and i am 5 hours ahead and sometimes ppl do not realise and also to clarify how to dial out internationally. so my second called was to see if the nurse got the message and explained to her my location, Helen was disconcernd and patronizing, just plain rude and bothered i was even calling.. I am not calling to bother anyone, it is a possible false covid rapid test and an actual Pneumonia infection which was diagnosed AFTER my mom was seen in the triage early in the day previous ( not with the Dr. B') and was sent home said she was fine and then it was in the ER at midnight where she was diagnosed with the pneumonia. so naturally i am concerned Helen...If Helen is bothered by me being long winded in my explanation of the situation from the very first time I called, she should look for an alternate line of work that is not dealing with the public!!!

Dr. Barakat is a Genius. Very professional and really cares about his patient. He really saved my life, was an anemic for long time and he found it in time. It did something to my body and I'm not the same. But I'm very grateful he let me know I was an anemic, Great doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Aslam for his specialty and stayed with him as my Primary Care Manager, because he is extremely good, detail-oriented, also board certified in Internal Medicine, and is just about the smartest doctor I've ever met!

Staff is ALWAYS polite and courteous. The physicians go out of their way to make certain you understand diagnosis, prognosis and treatment. Grateful for their services!

I was Dr. Barakat's patient a few years ago and since returning to the area, felt that I should continue care with him as I was pleased before. My return was not as great as I remember it. I was unable to get in touch with his office. No one answered the phone in the three times I called. I left a message and did not receive a call back. I feel that his staff is subpar and unprofessional. I visited the office twice and wasn't pleased either time. I decided to take my business elsewhere. Dr. Barakat is an awesome doctor and I would recommend him to anyone but I just can't deal with unprofessional staff members.

Dr. Barakat is one of the most caring doctors I know. I feel my health has improved since seeing him . He takes the time to examine and test you throughly. He does not rush in and out like most doctors. I would recommend him to anyone
