Terrible experience with Dr. Hellwege. He is dismissive, rude, has no bedside manner, and lacks compassion. My father had to get a hernia repair. When we went to the post-op follow up, he wasn’t even in the room for 5 minutes. We felt rushed and talked down to when questions were asked. When we asked the last question, he barely answered it and literally left before I could say or comment anything. The nurse ended up answering the question I had. Also, neither the doctor nor the nurse were wearing a mask. Overall, it was simply an unpleasant experience.

Best medical staff in the area. Dr McBride is the most caring surgeon in practice in the area. An overall pleasant atmosphere and great people.

The doctor and nurse weren’t wearing a mask during the pandemic. When I asked the nurse why she wasn’t wearing one she said it was up to the doctor. I said not the patient? She said she would put one on if I wanted and then the doctor came down the hall also not wearing one. I walked out. At least pretend you care!

Dr Rogers is a excellent surgeon he takes the time to explain to you what he's going to do what the risks are and he's just an awesome surgeon

Dr. Harrington removed a tumor from my leg 3 years ago. I took off from work to have the follow up appointment to get the stitches removed. That morning when I already took off, they called and canceled at the last minute.. I told them that I could not come in another day any time soon, that I would have to wait another 2 weeks... if someone could please at least take out the stitches since I already had the morning off. They refused!! For all they know or care, I still have stitches in my leg. They did not take care of me.

Dr. Helwege is absolutely the best. He is courteous, professional and clearly highly skilled. I consider him a very valuable asset to this community that ensures a substantial quality of life experience. Thanks Mike

Terrible experience with Dr. Rodgers! My sister needed a boil/cyst drained. It was extremely painful for her, which is the only reason she finally came in because she is deathly afraid of needles or anything invasive. While I’ll admit that her fear is a handful, Dr. Rodgers was rude, dismissive, and completely lacked compassion or bedside manner.Somehow the incision is made and the wound is drained and packed. However, she was never given anything for pain, so you can imagine how she felt once the local anesthetic had worn off. Today we call the office, thinking it was an honest mistake. Dr. Rodgers tells her that “it SHOULD be better” and to go to the ER if she’s in pain!Of course she’s in pain; you sliced through her flesh and now cannot even be bothered to prescribe an NSAID (no history of drug abuse, by the way, she doesn’t even like to take medication)?! This seems unethical and I will not be placing another loved one in the care of this facility again!

Dr. Rodgers did an excellent job on my husband’s surgery. He went above and beyond for us during the entire process, and I’m grateful he was able to have him as a surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Rodgers was called in because of an intestinal blockage. The first time he walked in my room I knew that I would like him. He has an awesome bedside manner. Never makes you feel as if he is too busy to listen to my every question. I went in to his office one month later and he was the same. Came in, sat down and listened to me. My husband and I really feel good with him taking care of me. And the office personnel and his nurse April could not have been any nicer. Thanks Dr. Rodgers.
