List of Layth A Saymeh's Reviews
Poor experience and Doctor. More concerned with his own hubris and personal awards than getting medications ordered for patients. Staff reflects the attitude of the doctor, unprofessional and non-caring.
Misdiagnosed with gastroparesis. Just found out at Emory that Saymeh didn't even do the correct test used for making that diagnosis...SMH
Dr. Saymeh has been nothing but helpful! He is a very busy man but he always takes the time to explain every thing thoroughly. He is very intelligent and knows what he is doing. He doesn’t sugar coat and that’s what I love about him. I used to be nauseated 24/7 until he fixed me. He is a true gift from God and I am very thankful for him.
We've been seeing Doctor Saymeh for the last 3 years and couldn't be more happy with him and his staff. On two occasions my husband had emergency conditions that Doctor Saymeh attended, to include an emergency surgery in ICU. He's a life saver and we strongly recommend him.
I have had an ulcer for years, just found out I also have Adrenal Insufficiency or Addison’s Disease which prohibits stomach ulcers from healing. Dr. Saymeh wanted Dr. Vaughn to cut out the stomach ulceration of 24 mm in diameter. Dr. Vaughn did not want to do the surgery. For 2 days, while I was in the Hospital we would be told I was going to have the surgery & then that I was not. Dr. Vaughn finally came to my room & said I was not going to have gastric, apparently radical surgery… After being released from the Hospital I was in terrible pain, at times, from the Stomach Ulcer. I called Dr. Saymeh’s Office to schedule an appointment & was informed that because, apparently, the Radical Surgery (basically bariatric bypass on a 120 lb woman of 5’5”) was not done, Dr. Saymeh childishly gathered all my information, sent it to my GP, & refuses to see me, ever. If Dr. Saymeh could’ve spent more than 5 seconds Explaining to my Husband & myself the issues… MAYBE WHILE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL RECOVERING FROM MULTIPLE ISSUES I WOULD HAVE MADE ANOTHER CHOICE. We will never KNOW. Dr. Saymeh is SO BUSY TRYING TO LEAVE FROM THE MOMENT HE STEPS INTO YOUR HOSPITAL ROOM IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SPECULATE. His Office manners are about the same.
Disappointed that never got to speak to doctor. Always NP.
He only spends 5 minutes with you. Constantly interrupting you. Acts like he's an all knowing God since he won't listen to what you have to say about what's going on with you. I recommend finding another doctor. Saymeh won't have time for you
Called to get an appointment. The person who answered the phone is very rude. She tried to schedule me an appointment on Friday at 3:30 knowing they close at 12. Doctors you all better train your front desk because you are losing business because of your front desk.
I believe Dr Seymeh to be an excellent, top of the line Dr. Hes kind, and he listenes. He has helped me tremendously. I couldn't even swallow a small pill. Much less eat. Tjree throat stretches later, I'm good as new. But I need to go back and get more meds. Up keep. God Bless you sir for caring so well for me. Your score deserves to be much higher in my opinion
He doesn't have any bedside manners, he does your procedure and leaves the building before talking to you and explaining what is going on with you. Dr. Saymeh did a procedure left and told the nurse to tell me what he found, I had never heard of this disease, when I got home I phoned his office and was told over and again I couldn't speak with him, I was left trying to figure out what to do just to be able to eat, I was unable to eat anything without being in sever pain. I googled my prognosis and treating myself, I would not recommend this doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
