I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis almost a year and half ago and when I was referred to Dr. Dawood I looked her address up and saw the reviews. They made me scared to keep my appointment. I learned never to rely on reviews but to reserve judgment for my own experience. I'm so so glad I kept my appointment. She is extremely thorough and she actually listens to you. She hears my concerns and most importantly she looks at my whole health situation before making decisions for treatment. She has worked very hard to help me. What I think I like most about her is she is not one who just passes out pain meds to get you out of the office. She works to treat the cause of the pain. I'm proud that she is my rheumatologist and I will stick with her as long as she sticks with me.

I went to her for the first time when I was in 9th or 10th. She took my symptoms and matched it up with what she thought I had. She never gave any tips on how to manage anything. She would simply look my my knees for inflamation, run blood work and that was it. She eventually said it was lupus. I was on medication for this for several years and was told not to take birth control because it would hurt me due to the medicine. I once asked her what I could do to help myself feel better such as dietary changes etc. She looked me in the eye and said I was not going to get any better. I changed doctors shortly after that because I needed a doctor who would listen to me and support me. Comes to find out she misdiagnosed me and all blood work ran came back negative for lupus. She misdiagnosed me and had me taking me medicine with 0 support for roughly 6-8 years.If you are looking for a doctor who cares and wants to help and listen to you, do not see Dawood. She will not hear what you have to say. She will run blood work and give medicine that is all. I recently found out I'm not alone and I hope everyone finds a doctor that helps and cares.

Only giving a star because I had to in order to leave a review. Made an appointment in 2020. Had to cancel due to Covid-19. Did not reschedule at the time. Made new appt 2021. Went to appt. Dr Dawood was in a hurry. I was new patient. Wanted good consultation. So in office rescheduled for following week. Received letter indicating Dr Dawood would no longer be able to be my healthcare provider due to having 4 cancelled/rescheduled appts. I guess this office has found a new way to weed out patients they don't want. It's really unfortunate Dr Dawood approves this. Never again. I hope everyone reads all these reviews to see how bad it really is. I am going to agree to user agreement but I never received treatment from this doctor. It's the only way I can post this review.

I do not recommend Dr. Dawood... no care for her patients at all. You will only be in your appointment for 5 minutes..she doesn’t listen to your needs nor explains her diagnosis... I was diagnose with lupus and also had a positive antibody for rheumatoid and she never told me until 6 months later... she will only make you get labs and not take up the time to figure out what’s actually going on with you the patient.. I put up with this for almost 3 years and now currently looking for someone to better treat my diagnosis... I will not recommend her to anyone !

Dr Dawood was short to the point of rude cutting me off while I was talking. She stated she wouldn't treat me due to my mental health issues as it would make her uncomfortable.

She was very open to questions and spends as much time with me as I require. Her staff is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend her.

I did not know she had a place for reviews so here it is. My father was seeing her for a while in 2017, and died Feb 2019. He was in constant pain after she changed his medication and showed signs of being allergic to the medication braking out in what I can only describe as hives. My father was a darker tan skinned man and she called him dirty during an appointment and because it was so hot neither him or I felt like arguing with her any more. When asked to repeat herself when explaining his tests she refused, her accent was thick and was difficult to make out and he and I both had difficulties hearing in general to begin with.I would never recommend her practice.

I've had 3 appointments with Dr. Dawood and I love going there! She is very kind and listens. Her and her staff are very nice and friendly!
