Didn’t seem to diagnose me properly wasted money on a unnecessary procedure told me if I do what he says the procedure would work boy was he wrong then later told me my situation would not work

I have some growth in one of my kidneys show by MRI. We wait because he can't do a biopsy. Three months later another MRI and he says the kidney need to come out, suggesting I go to Emory. Emory contact his office, after I signed a release form and they say they didn't make a referral and refuse records. Another month has passed and still trying to get my records to Emory from Dr. Fussells Office. Cancer doesn't wait but Dr. Fussells office doesn't care and is in no hurry to help.

Front office staff very incompetent,will not return calls,prescriptions are photocopies that pharmacist will not fill,communication between doctor,nurse and staff very poor and dangerous.

I have enjoyed going to see Dr. Fussell and Lisa. They have always treated me with respect. Lisa takes more time talking to you but together they make a great team. They took great care care of my mom and so far they have taken good care of me.

I have had 2 procedures done by him so far and maybe 1 or 2 more to go for kidney stones. He is amazing. His staff is also great. Never in my life have I had a dr hold my hand and pray for me, himself, and his team before surgery. And I’ve had quite a few surgeries. He is definitely recommended.

Dr Fussell did not make me feel comfortable. I really hate that I chose him to perform my surgery. His bedside manner is non existent and he does not appear to care about the clients. I am having very bad complications post surgery and he won't bother to even listen to what I have to say. Everytime I message him I feel.as if I'm getting on his nerves. He gives this generic political answer without really trying to understand what I'm saying. If you are interested in Penuma please go elsewhere . He seems like a very knowledgeable doctor, but my experience with him has been terrible

I went to Houston Medical Center emergency room in severe pain. It was determined that I had a large kidney stone that had blocked my kidney, causing it to become enlarged and septic. They contacted the on-call physician, who was Dr. Fussell. From the moment he spoke to me and my husband, he acted as if he did not want to be there and would only do the bare minimum to get me through the holidays. ...

Absolutely the worst! I was referred to him to look into some of my issues. He came in and there was an automatic attitude. Don't know if i was the wrong color but it certainly began that way. He presented me some of the outcomes of my blood tests and attitude was all over the place. No recommended way ahead, it seemed as if they were ready to leave for the day and i was in the way. After I took home the blood tests, i realized that all the reference range and status were for females and all the blood advice were as if i were a female. I will never go back to him and am sorry that my Tricare money will be going there. very disappointed. When I asked for a referral to a kidney doctor he said that i should just look it up myself in google and pick one....geez, never again!

I had TURP done a couple of weeks ago for retention of fluid. Another urrologist had done this procedure about 7 or 8 years ago and it did no good. Dr. Fussell did a great job and I can urinate better than I have in 20 years. His office staff is excellent, professional and kind. Would recommend to anyone with urinary problems!

My wife was seen for abdominal pain, suspected kidney stones, in 2018. We were from out of state. He sent us for a CT scan. After returning home to Florida, we called for the CT scan results. Said they could not tell us over the phone and we would have to drive to GA to find out. No mention of stones or other problems. We were not able to travel 6 hours back just for an office visit since they didn't mention any problems found. Now, 2 years later, my wife is in the ICU recovering from colon cancer surgery. Some tumor still remains. An oncologist just walked in and said "did you know a CT scan for possible kidney stones 2 years ago found a Stage 2 tumor???" She has been in constant pain lst 2 years and thought it was just common back pain since the CT scan was apparently good. Until a new Dr and another CT scan found a large tumor that this DR in Georgia knew about 2 years ago but did not bother to tell us. It was clearly written in the Radiologist report sent to him then.
