I haven’t been to the office but did deal with Dr. Shekarappa in the hospital and I really liked him. He is also funny to me for some reason. He’s very compassionate and kind as well.

Dr Shekarappa and his wife have been my dr's for many year. They are very thorough and knolageable. The staff is friendly and pleasant. I've never heard anyone complain or have anything negative to say about their practice.. I give them 5 stars because they earned it.

I have been seeing Dr Shekarappa for more than 10 years. He is very kind, compassionate and thorough. I worked at the hospital as a nurse, and observed his "bedside manner" with patients, which is why I chose him as my physician. I've never regretted that decision. I have seen Dr Kumat, as well as his NP, Tausha for unscheduled sick visits. They were wonderful too.

My wife was his first nurse,in 2001 he and I were sitting in the office a day after 911 watching rescue go thru trying to find victims and he said quietly I wish I could go there and help !!! That told me what kind of man he is and he's the most caring Dr, that's why he's my Dr and my friend he's just the best 👍

Due to a change in insurance that my present physician does not accept, I decided to try Dr Shekarappa as I know he is an excellent doctor and a kind gentleman. My initial impression of their front office staff was not a favorable one. I felt I was imposing on their time and they didn't want to be bothered with me. If my insurance is accepted, I may go for one visit just to see if my experience improves.
