List of Mark A. Earhart's Reviews
they get me in quick very friendly staff. dr. Earhart has each of his rooms decorated in a different theme. He even has a lego room where he has built several lego figurines.
They refused to complete a basic form needed to transfer my 92 year old motherinlaw to assisted living despite numerous recent visits. This after a week of refusing to respond to my messages. They refused to acknowledge receiving the form because of HIPAA rules and then told us they would not complete the form until we brought her in to the office despite being in a hospital only after bringing my wife into the conversation who did have permission to see her records. To quote the office admin this is not our problem. Terrible service level medical care and compassion.

They refused to complete a basic form needed to transfer my 92 year old motherinlaw to assisted living despite numerous recent visits. This after a week of refusing to respond to my messages and those from the assisted living director. They refused to acknowledge receiving the form because of HIPAA rules and then told us they would not complete the form until we brought her in to the office after bringing my wife into the conversation who did have permission to see her record despite being in a hospital. To quote the office admin this is not our problem. When I told her that this is why we left the practice 3 years ago she hung up on me. Terrible service level medical care and compassion.
Mark Earhart had nothing to offer medically and was rude. Wish I could give zero stars. Do not trust your healthcare with this person. I was in a serious medical bind after interacting with him. Be warned.
Ive been seeing Dr. Earhart nearly 20 years now. He is an excellent doctor and one that my wife and I see. With my problems its good to have a good caring doctor. Mark and his staff provide excellent care
I was a patient of Dr Earhart for more than 12 years. I deal with Doctors daily as a pharmaceutical sales representative so I know what good competent doctors look like. You will not find a better more compassionate doctor than Dr Earhart. Dr Earhart is not a good Doctor he’s a GREAT Doctor. He takes time with his patients and is able to accurately diagnose the problem problems quickly. He’s very knowledgeable about all the best medications for the particular problem he’s treating. It’s very difficult to find Primary Care Physicians that provide the quality of care that Dr Earhart provides. I would give Dr Earhart my highest recommendation if your looking for a Primary Care Physician in the Athens Ga area.
Although i like Dr. Earhart i will warn potential patients. When it comes to prescription refills they will force you to come in unwilling to work with your situation. I am self employed and like all of us during this covid situation i can Ill afford to lose out on work. They recently cost me a $300.00 job because they refused to write a prescription refill one i have been on for years. And allow me to come in for the visit 3 days later plus as a bonus I payed full price for a visit all out pocket in which Dr. Earhart was in the room for about 60 seconds. Literally long enough to sign his name on a prescription and walk out. So be aware your prescriptions may be held hostage before you let them prescribe you medication.
Compassionate professional expedient group of healthcare providers with a phenomenal staff. Many times you can get same day appointments. The office is unlike any other in the area in that it has themed rooms and is not stark white. It’s decorated tastefully like a home and has a super convenient location with ample parking. The office has been voted best of Athens by the Athens Banner Herald multiple times. The physician and mid level providers are intelligent knowledgeable and will fight insurance companies for what is right for the patient. The practice administrator is excellent truly a testament to the profession keeps the office running smoothly efficiently and truly cares about the people they serve. This is one of the last truly independent practices in the area not owned by a hospital so they are not encumbered by hospital policies and politics. They accept a wide range of plans that are utilized in the area and also accept cash pay patients. A terrific place to get exceptional care in Athens Oconee County and surrounding areas.
Went in for a yearly physical. Had to wait past appointment time as other people went ahead of me that came in after me. Had blood work done and was never contacted by staff with results. Doubt I’ll use them again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
