List of Piedmont Urgent Care At Oconee Health Campus's Reviews
Don't know what the point of an appointment here is. I had an appointment for 1pm, waited until 2pm and when I asked there were still 9 people ahead of me. I guess the appointment time is +-2 hours.
Lanissa Summerour was the nurse practitioner that ‘evaluated’ me on Sunday 11/28/21. I went in complaining of sickening pain, making my throw up. The pain was coming from a lump on my left side that I explained has been growing for the last 9ish months. After waiting 2 hours to be seen (it’s urgent care on Sunday, I get it), she asked me why I was there. So I tell her, explain my pain, family history of cancer and that we lost my dad to cancer a year and a half ago. She proceeded to feel my back and say there’s nothing there.Ma’am, my entire family has felt it, my employees have felt it. It’s definitely there. I was basically told I was freaking myself out and that explained my borderline hypertension blood pressure. She sent me out with steroids and a muscle relaxer. They ordered zero test, urine sample or blood work.I made it to a REAL DOCTOR today. What did she find? The lump! Didn’t even have to feel around for it AND blood in my urine. Ultrasound ordered. Ruling out kidney stones. They actually took my concern seriously and are getting me help!
A 4 hour wait in the car… before leaving without being helped. Absolutely horrible!
Horrible experience as well! What is happening with healthcare? I have had my share of urgent care visits in my lifetime and this has got to be the worst. Very sad state of affairs. Piedmont…please hire people that are in it for the right reasons. Obviously this staff is not here for the health and well being of others.
Ive been here around 5 times and every time they are rude and "can't help" with most things. Reddy Ugent Care is very close, just go there. Extremely rude, awful place, go to any other urgent care.
Piedmont urgent care is horrible!!! They treated my mom so horrible. She booked her appointment online and she still had to sit in the car for two hours waiting to be seen. These people don’t care about you and your health. My mom is really sick and they tested her for Covid and it came back negative and they told her it wasn’t anything they could do for her. I’m like just because she doesn’t have Covid she can’t be sick??? Does everything rely on Covid right now. They didn’t bother to test her for flu of strep based on her symptoms she was having. The doctor didn’t even want to give her a prescription but in the end changed his mind because of her coughing. Then only wrote her a work excuse for the day she visited urgent care and told her she could go back the next day and she told him she don’t think she could go back the next day and he wouldn’t extend it and when it was time to fill the prescription guess what?? The doctor gave her another patient prescription!!! This place is horrible and when she took the prescription back to them they had an attitude and still refused to give her another work excuse!!! If you’re able to go to your primary care doctor please do! Or if not, visit another urgent care with great reviews. Worst place ever!!!!
I am really disappointed in Piedmont Urgent Care's service. I went to the Urgent Care today because I felt sick, and then they asked me what I thought I had and asked to test me for Covid. I tested negative and they did not give me any advice on what I should do to make me feel better.
Hello, I care here because of an earache but test positive for Covid-19. The doctor was very rude. She got mad at me because I didn’t stick my tongue out right. No treatment plan was discussed with the doctor. She tells me there will be paperwork. The doctor begins to leave and before she’s out the door. She tells me I’m going to die. I’m sitting there in shock. Please work on your bedside manners that wasn’t right at all.
They never answer, could be waiting 2 minutes or 14 for them to answer called several times.
Max capacity supposedly at 3.5 hours prior to closing with an empty lobby refusing a not feeling well symptomatic COVID daily contact requiring urgent testing. Good to know appointments are not require. Find another place if you can.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
