Unfortunately I'm giving up on this practice. While I haven't had any issues with randomly cancelled appointments, I have yet to get my yearly mammogram order or a breast MRI order from my visit on Nov 12, 2025. I've also had an overpayment on my account that has been showing up in my patient portal since May of 2025 and despite speaking to them in person, leaving phone messages, contacting their outsourced billing dept, and sending multiple patient portal messages, I have yet to receive a refund check or even a communication regarding the situation. When I went in person, they claimed they outsource their billing and I had to contact them directly...which I did and it turned out to be just someone on the phone with no ability to do anything other than "escalate" my request to their "billing team". Issuing a refund for an overpayment is a pretty basic procedure and most practices just do this automatically if an overpayment sits on your account for any length of time. After more than 6 months of trying to resolve this, I have still made zero headway. The fact that they claim to have no one at the physcal office who can assist with this is just plain unprofessional.
Nov. 10, 2025 Dr. B performed my lumpectomy. I am very pleased with her professionalism and knowledge. She spent a great deal of time with me prior to surgery explaining everything and answering all of my questions. Her upbeat attitude also kept me positive when dealing with a health issue that is very concerning.
Extremely professional, kind and thorough, from the front desk, to the MA, and of course, Dr. B! Highly recommend. I trust Dr. B—know I am receiving the best care!
Agree, used to love this place then staff changed. I only go twice a year, they had to move my appointment to Saturday which was totally fine and then my next check up I got a text saying it was cancelled cause of increased number of surgeries. Also fine, but then they never bothered to reschedule me and it has been two months and nothing. I’ll be going to another breast clinic for my check ins now. Even if they contact me, I won’t bother going back. That’s not how people should be treated and wouldn’t trust my care to them.
To all the woman out there in need of a great place do not go here. This doctor will tell you that you need a biopsy when you don't just so she can collect from insurance companies meanwhile your panicking thinking the worst when in reality your fine. STAY AWAY
Had a lumpectomy 3 weeks ago and am very happy with the care I received. Dr. B is knowledgeable and was so reassuring that I would be OK. I found her staff to be kind and professional.
In the past I had been a long time supporter of this clinic, however, in the last several months it has gone downhill fast. Seems like the majority of these comments have expressed a lot of the same concerns with patient care and the quality of care they’re receiving. After the last doctor retired the standards did as well. Sad to see such a great place fall apart :/
I can't stop thanking everyone I met before and after my surgery. To Dr. Karen Buhariwalla DO, who gave me peace of mind and confidence that everything would be okay, and to Cindy, who answered my countless questions, THANK YOU FROM THE HEART! You are inspiring!
This is a hard review for me to leave. Dr. Buhariwalla was my oncology surgeon for a lumpectomy 2 years ago. I was satisfied with the surgery although I had an infection afterwards. I have mammograms every 6 months. The radiologist always tells me to follow-up with Dr. B and I try but I only been able to get an appointment with her PA one time. The last mammogram showed possible cancer recurrence in the same breast and the radiologist strongly advised me to see Dr. B to discuss if I need a biopsy. I left a voice mail on Monday morning. You cannot talk to anyone and have to leave VM. I did not receive a call the entire week. Given my senses of urgency, I got an appointment with another surgeon the same week. I waited a few days with still no call from Dr. B. I left another VM and told them I was dissatisfied and going with another practice. That was two weeks ago and they still haven't bothered to call so I guess I don't matter to them. I hope Dr. B reads the reviews. There are many with the same problem with the staff.
DON’T GIVE UP ON THIS PRACTICE! Yes, they are going through some growing pains, so to speak, but Dr B is an excellent surgeon. She was my surgeon before she came to GA Breast Care and I wouldn’t let anyone else take care of me if more surgery is ever needed. She is kind, educated, professional, and she will make sure you get EXACTLY what you need if a problem arises. My yearly appointment was also postponed but I was told to still have my mammogram done. When there was a potential problem, her office sprung into action making sure I get the care that I need. If you need surgery, she is the one you want taking care of you!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
