Dr. Jill, her PA, & staff have all been so kind and wonderful to my family for 4 years (since my daughter’s birth). They take time with their patients, listen and answer questions thoroughly. Dr. Jill and Lauren (PA) both take a conservative approach and try not to just throw antibiotics at everything, unless it’s necessary. I appreciate that they respect parental input. Dr. Jill’s knowledge about nutrition, vitamins, & holistic approaches combined with her medical training makes her practice the best!
You should not trust this doctor? When i took my 6 year old daughter to see her. Her and her staff were very rude to me . I definitely wont be going back there.
Not so wise when it comes to special needs kids, i dropped this dr when my son was just a few months old.
Dr. Dickerson is very gentle and shows genuine concern for patients. My first time there was great and we were glad to find a what we thought to be a great option. Only complain was that the front staff seem a bit rude and the office is not very clean. Today, we went and saw the PA, while it was not the worse experience, the rest of the staff made the visit very unpleasant and almost seemed annoyed to have to deal with children. I decided it is best not to return. Also no blood work done onsite.
Dr. Dickerson is amazing along with her entire staff. I am treated like family every time I visit. I also love Lauren the PA as well as all the nurses. They have taken GREAT care of my kids and I am beyond thankful for them! Dr. Dickerson will be seeing my kids as long as she is in practice.
I loved her! She was all my children’s doctor until they stop accepting WellCare. Wish she still accepted if they would most definitely still be going there!
The staff is always attentive. The doc and PAs are thorough and take time to listen to our concerns.
I have six kids ages 3 to 14 and I take all of them to Dr. Dickerson. I appreciate her holistic approach to health and how incredibly available she is to us via phone and email after and during hours.
My son, who is 5, started having stomach pains this past summer. . Around August 1st 2016. I took him here to Vibrant Kids in Newnan and the the doctor said that he just had gas and was constipated. They sent us home and told me to buy some miralax and give it to him twice a day. Days went by and his stomach kept hurting worse and he wasn't pooing at all. I could tell there was something really wrong. I called the doctor back and of course, they said to just keep giving him miralax. I wanted him to come back in. I told them the miralax wasn't doing anything and I brought him back in. After me begging for something else to be done, They put in an order for him to have an ultrasound and X-ray at OPI imaging in Newnan.. I quickly took them there and they were able to do an ultrasound but saw nothing out of the ordinary. They had to schedule the X-ray for another day for some reason. The woman who did the ultrasound said that it could just be gas. I took him to get an X-ray done a few days later. I then waited a few days for the doctors office to call with results, but I didn't get a call and each day he got worse and worse. I called several times requesting the X-ray results and had to leave voicemails for the doctor. I was staring to get really angry at this point because His stomach started increasing in size and he started to not eat as much. I called the doctor back and demanded to get the results. They finally told me that the X-ray was fine and they just told me to keep giving him miralax ! I was very mad and told the nurse on the phone that they needed to do something else and they said that they just needed me to do what they said , which was miralax. I took it upon myself to schedule for him to see a pediatric gastro. . I finally was able to get up to Sandy Springs where the closest kids gastro was and that doctor told us the same exact thing the pediatrician did! We ended up going back and forth to the gastro three times when finally my son's father and I just took him to Scottish Rite/CHOA on Sept 29th 2016 and that's where we found out that he had a massive tumor in his abdomen and it was cancer. It's called Burkitt's Lymphoma and it's the fastest growing cancer there is. It started in his intestine. He was very sick at that point and he had to go directly to a pediatric ICU room, where we stayed for two weeks, trying to get the fluid out of his lungs that quickly accumulated in the past few days. He had 4 rounds of high dose chemo and is now in remission. Had vibrant kids pediatrics been more concerned and helped my son, it might not have gotten that bad. We almost lost him that first week in ICU.
We absolutely love Dr. Jill and the nurses! They have taken wonderful care of my son and given us a lot of sound advice. I also appreciate that she doesn't push vaccines. She leaves it up to the parents and respects your decisions for your kids. She is respectful and listens carefully. She also works hard to connect with your kids and make them feel comfortable. Couldn't be happier! We've gone there for almost 2 years.
We adore Dr. Jill and staff! She cares so deeply about each patient (and the parents). I hate that other reviewers have had negative experiences but truthfully, I feel like parents can sometimes expect doctors to be able to explain every issue with our children in a single visit. As parents, we must listen to our guts and work with the doctors. My youngest daughter was diagnosed with rare allergy-like intolerance to random foods that cannot be detected through testing. Dr. Jill and her staff worked with us, listened to my own motherly instincts, and worked to find a diagnosis. A similar situation happened with my first daughter. Dr. Jill has been an absolute blessing to our family and a God-send. If you've read the other reviews, take them lightly. I hate the bad experiences those parents have had, but something tells me that would most likely be upset with any doctor out there. We would never choose another pediatrician for our family!
I cried tears of joy after leaving this office. Finding a pediatrician that you work well with can be a challenge, especially when one of your children has special needs. This doctor (and staff) is a diamond in the rough. She took her time with me, answered all my questions, thoroughly explained things to me, and left me feeling like she truly cares. This is a wonderful practice!
We love Dr Jill our daughter is one and since birth we have been coming to dr Jill! We have easy access to all her files and records through patient portal and can communicate with the doctor, PA, nurses and staff via email without needing to come into the office for all my (new first time mom moments) - she lets us space out shots which was very important to us while choosing our pediatrician! We enjoy working with her PA Lauren we feel confident in both of them and the care we receive for our baby girl!
Dr. Jill is awesome! The nurses are awesome! I refer others as often as possible! When we moved to Georgia seven years ago my two youngest children saw her and over the years their relationship with her never saw a disappointment. They go above and beyond to make sure you children of all ages get the best doctor care available!
Dr Jill is the best pediatrician Cade has had! She spends time with us when we have numerous questions like Cade is the only patient. She is caring and kind with him and Cade also loves the nurses.
Would NOT ever recommend!!The first time I took my kids here was for a check up, my appointment time was at 1:15 when their not even open at this time they are gone for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 with all doors locked!!So we had to sit in the parking lot for 20 minute's waiting on them to open the door. My next visit and last visit was when my 2 year son was very sick with fever and cough. I was only 10 minutes late when we arrived the front desk lady was extremely rude and said that they wouldn't be able to see him that day.Remind you this is not a check up my child is very sick!! They could of said I may have to wait a few hours but will try to work you in, even though they was not a single person in their waiting room at this time!! Their total lack of compassion for the well being of my children was felt ever time I went here.
Avoid the pediatricians office at all cost! We moved from WI to GA last year and decided to go with this place out of convenience since it was in our neighborhood. We have always had great experiences with pediatricians and office staff prior to this place-we loved our last dr. and had no issues(in fact he would call to check in on the girls after a sick visit). Vibrant Kids was the exact opposite experience. First off, my 1 year old daughter at the time was tested for food allergies and when we got the results (that indicated she had severe food allergies and needed an epi-pen) they emailed us the results and a note saying we had to go pick up an epi pen. A call would have been nice since I don't check emails everyday. Seriously. What if something would have happened in that time frame? Also, the office staff is completely rude-not just once but on multiple occasions when I called the office they acted as if I was an inconvenience to them. The final straw was the fact that my fiancé called them to make an appointment for my eldest daughter and they told him they would only look at her for 10 minutes. He got a negative attitude with them over the phone (not saying he was an angel-but most of us parents may get heated when our children our sick and cant get in until NOV) and so they banned us from the office-mind you I had no clue about any of this until they cancelled my daughters appointment by email of course because they can't have the common courtesy to call to notify of something like that. This place is a joke-they are not in it for taking care of children, and they have no compassion. It is sickening how they treat people-they just want your money so beware!
Awesome office and staff
As a physician she is very thorough. She is very friendly and my son loves her. She listens to what I have to say and takes my sons individual needs into consideration. I work with many physicians and she has always impressed me with her personal touch and this is one of the reasons that I made the decision to go to her when I was pergnant with my son.
