Jan Fujita's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Jan is the best ever. Thanks to my sister for recommending her, she's the best OB/Dr. She's very quick, knowledgeable, even though she's quick, she'll make sure she gives you all the information you need. The ladies in the front are so friendly and make sure they know you/know about you. Very good with names. As an OB, Dr. Jan also makes me and wife comfortable, talks through the whole process when it comes to annual pap, explains everything so clearly and thoroughly. She also recommended her best fertility Dr to us, but never got a chance around to it, but she's just so awesome for giving this information, and trying to help since we want to have a baby.Currently sitting in kapiolani hospital waiting for my wife to come out of surgery, Dr. Jan is with her, and I trust her... if it wasn't for her, Stacy would not have known about the things that's causing her pain in her stomach/uterus. So Dr. Jan is taking all those monsters out of her.All in all, Dr. Jan is 10/10 recommend. If you looking for a good OB, Dr. Jan is the one. Her office is located in Aiea Medical Building.

I booked my appointment MONTHS in advance and would have been a new patient and 4 days before my appointment, her office tells me that they cannot see me because I have Medicare. I explained that HMSA is my primary carrier and that Medicare is my secondary carrier but they refused to see me. In all my years of seeing other physicians, I have never encountered this problem. One would think it's a good thing that I have DUAL coverage so that the doctor is guaranteed payment.

I ALSO would've given 0 stars if I could. You know the staff member that takes your blood pressure? Yeah, well, she pressed down on my blood pressure cuff, and it legit exploded, making my blood pressure skyrocket. Dr. Fujita didn't care. She logged down the number, even though it was fake. Also, she was bullying me and my young daughter, and forced me to come in and take her out of school. I tried to change my appointment 37 times, but I wasn't allowed to. That day, my daughter was supposed to go on a field trip to Camp Erdman, but I had to pull her out of school. My daughter kicked me all the way to the car, and when I told Dr. Fujita what my daughter had missed, she just SHRUGGED it off like she didn't care! I had to pay around $500 dollars for my daughter to go on that field trip and there would be no refunds. After that, Dr. Fujita decided to treat me extremely nasty, and when I had an important question, she wouldn't answer it correctly. Please, please heed my advice (especially if you have young children) and don't waste your time going to Dr. Fujita for an OBGYN. I'm still with her, because money is a problem and I can't afford to switch, but that doesn't mean that you guys should try her out. I'm writing this anonymously because she was very threatening and mean when I told her that I wanted to tell my family. I never did, but here's the only way that they and others can read it. Dr. Jan Fujita is the best OBGYN ever!! I wish that the OBGYN here in Colorado is as great as her..!

I would've given this 0 stars if I could. Dr. Jan T. Fujita is an ok doctor herself BUT her receptionists are nightmares. They never pick up the phone...and when they do pick up, which is once in a millennium, they give me the worst attitude. They are too confident that they are correct when they are not. Their medications do not always work; they sometimes don't work at all!

I originally see her brother, Dr Jon Fujita, but he's currently out on vacation so I was able to see her while he's out. Dr Jan Fujita is awesome. She will definitely be straight up with you, whether you like it or not. She's very thorough & explains everything to you in detail - pros & cons.This would be a 5-star review but her front office staff literally sucks....like, LITERALLY. I had an emergency that needed to be taken care of & of course it landed on a Monday. I tried calling the office multiple times all day, mind you it was during office hours, but NO ANSWER so I gave up. The next day, Tuesday, my emergency was really an E M E R G E N C Y. I tried calling the office again in the morning & guess what, STILL NO ANSWER. I called multiple times again throughout the day....& finally...@ ~3:30PM (30mins to closing)...someone answers! Are you freaking serious? The front office staff needs to learn how to answer the damn phone! 1st time mommy-to-be's like myself need the phones to be answered especially in an emergency! I told whoever answered the phone what my concern was & she said "can you come now?"....Uh hello, I could've came the day before if you answered the damn phone!!! I was soooo furious that when I got to the office & they checked my BP, it was super high. Well that's because people don't frickn answer the damn phone. All in all, I ended up getting admitted to the hospital because I was supposedly in pre-term labor. Just be aware, if you're planning on getting an appt, call waaaaaaay ahead.

One of the BEST OBGYNs out there! She tells it to you like it is. She's almost like your second mom with how much she cares! Her staff is so friendly and sweet and her technique is very gentle when it comes to Paps or biopsy's!!

Dr Jan is the best hands down. But her front desk workers arent. They never answer the phone. And when I do get lucky to schedule an appt, when I come in, they're just sitting around laughing, talking on their cell. Like, really? Thats why yall cant answer? BTW ive called 10x this morning (09-27-17) @ 9:12am NO ANSWER!

If I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD.She's been my on since I was in hs. Tell me why her staff still sucks? They look like all they do is eat and gossip behind their desk. Disgusting. I've been calling for weeks, no call back now their inbox is full. I need to be seen asap and no one returns my calls. Other than her good for nothing medical assistants, she is way too loud, seems like she's rushing me out of her office and seems unprofessional oppose to her brother (next door) I asked if I could switch to him and they said it was a conflict of interest and he won't be taking any of her patients any more. I'm now switching doctors else where.

Great doctor- open with information, knowledgeable, professional in the exams, a sense of humor, and to the point! Not just a great Obgyn, but also a wonderful person. Eases my anxieties over female problems and answers ALL my questions! Thanks, Dr. Jan.
