List of Raymond Wee Md's Reviews
I have seen several different retina specialists for my ongoing eye issue and I prefer Dr. Wee over all. I always feel like I am getting the best diagnosis, analysis of my tests and treatment. He is easy to talk to, explains things in layman's terms, always asks if I have any further questions and is very thorough. I trust his excellent care and the best part is, my condition is improving. I also appreciate that he and his excellent staff travel to Kauai to care for so many.
Excellent Communicator and solid medical professional in the eye care and retina specialty. You are in good hands with Dr. Raymond Wee!
I went in to see Dr. Raymond Wee with what was then a relatively common eye problem and because of his apathetic and lackadaisical approach initially nothing was done. That became a detached retina several weeks later and then, partially due to his ineptitude and subpar skills in performing and managing such surgeries (IMHO), along with poor communication and lack of commitment to my care, after two surgeries by him I am now blind in that eye. That eye is dead-a condition called phthisis bulbi- and within a few years it will turn white. I'll add a pic onto this review if possible at that time. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of being "treated" by him do your research and find a better retinal specialist ASAP! I wish I did!

Terrific. He has saved my eyes after a retina detachment, a second eye detaching, and has imporved my vision.
Dr Wee is very professional and explains thoroughly and clearly what procedures and treatments he recommends. The staff is well trained and the system devised to move patients through efficiently helps minimize wait time.
VERY CONCISE IN HIS EXPLANATIONS. LEFT LITTLE TO DOUBT. NO NONSENSE AND DIRECT. VERY FINE DOCTOR.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
