Took my daughters to get their throats checked because it was sore. The Dr didn’t look at their throats or swabbed it to test what it could be. All she did was prescribe cough medicine. I asked for a Drs note for work and the Dr said for me to go ask my pcp for it cause they won’t give me the excuse note. The medical assistant was rude and rough. I told our pcp and now we have to go in and see our Dr in person. What a waste of time and money. Absolutely ridiculous! Definitely will not go back here again. I will definitely share this bad experience with everyone! Also the staff were not courteous and could hear them laughing and talking loudly. The staff should remember this is a place of business where sick people go to.

I contacted my girls PCP and told them what happened and now we have to go and see our Dr in person. What a waste of time and money. The Medical assistant was very rude and rough. I could hear the staff talking loudly and laughing. The staff should remember that this is a place where people who come when they are sick and they should show some compassion and not be so rough and rude. The Dr. didn't do anything! Definitely telling everyone not to come here. Now I'm going to get charged twice to having my girls get looked at because the urgent care Dr failed to do her job.

Took the grand kids here for an unexpected urgent care visit while they came to visit us in Ewa for spring break. Staff was respectful of our time and told us upfront it would be up to two hours wait, made sure paperwork was complete and took the time to make sure we were comfortable with the outcome before discharging us. The practitioner and the medical assistant who helped us in the back were amazing and had so much patience with the crabby babies. Our daughter who lives here also uses this U/C as her primary backup location if she can't get into her PCP and has nothing but good things to say about her past experiences.

Review for Queens Island Urgent Care, Ewa Beach ⭐☆☆☆☆ I recently visited Queens Island Urgent Care in Ewa Beach and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I checked in at 9:30 AM and spent an hour in the examination room. During that time, I could hear staff laughing and chatting about personal stories, which felt incredibly unprofessional, especially when I was struggling with my health. Instead of feeling supported and cared for, the environment made me feel overlooked. It was disheartening to hear such disregard for patients who might be having a tough day. Ultimately, I decided to leave the room and go home rather than endure the distracting and inappropriate atmosphere. I hope management addresses this issue, as patient care should always be the priority. I won’t be returning in the future.

Drove myself to urgent care after suffering chest pains about an hour earlier. Haven’t been feeling very well - very tired so I decided to go in and get checked. Probably within 15 minutes I was taken to one of the rooms to wait for a doctor. No one weighed me or checked my height or even my temperature. All they basically did was order an EKG And take my blood pressure. Then the “doctor” shows up. Dr. J. Briceno showed no care or concern. He merely listened to my chest, then told me to go see a primary care physician. Nothing’s wrong with me is what he said - No lab work no nothing not even any important questions. I will never go back to this location, no matter how sick I feel.

I went to this clinic yesterday because it's right down the road from me. I went around noon and I wanted to get tested, maybe even meds if I have the flu for sure. I went to check in and was told that the wait was around 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours. I said that's fine, I'll wait in my car and asked if I could get a phone call when it's my turn. The receptionist said they don't call people anymore and you have to wait in the waiting room. I decided to go home because my head was pounding and it felt like it was going to explode. I took a nap and decided to return around 6pm. I walked in and went to check in. The employees working at that time were extremely rude and said they weren't taking anyone at the moment. She said "Didn't you see the sign on the door?" I just walked out. I see why this place has so many bad reviews. The workers are super rude and the whole policy of sitting in the waiting room while sick, possibly exposing your germs to others is so inane. I would've preferred to go to straub Kapolei urgent care but I don't think I would've been able to handle the car ride. Straub or someone else needs to open another urgent care clinic in Ewa Beach cause this place ain't it.

Update: forgot to update that I went to a different doctor and they confirmed I did indeed have a sinus infection.

Came here as soon as they opened and they had a line but I believe, if I counted correctly, I was 8th in line. I'm no stranger to the medical field so I understand how busy it can be and how long the wait can take. While waiting in line, I was feeling quite nauseous. I made it to the check-in, provided my ID, insurance and reason for visit, but I couldn't hold it in anymore. I notified the MA that I needed to run out to the bathroom to throw up, and she said she can finish checking me in when I came back. I was gone for no more than 5 minutes. When I returned, there was no longer a line. After a while, the person that was in line before me was called in, so I knew I'd be next -- WRONG. 5 patients standing behind me in line, got seen before me. So it seems like I was moved to the back of the line, because I needed to throw up, literally something I had no control over. Aside from that, I was expecting to be tested for flu/covid/strep. Nope, just a quick exam and said I have a sinus infection. Didn't even ask if I was pregnant/breastfeeding before prescribing me certain meds. Stupid me forgot to ask if it was safe, since I still breastfeed my son. What a waste of nearly 3 hours of my time. Felt even worse after visiting. I should've just self tested and stayed home.

The front door is far from welcoming but we can deal with it, but it was my second time bringing my son to this clinic and unfortunately I had the terrible experience with Dr. Vu Nghiem. He has really bad side manners, arrogant and barely pay attention how the patient is feeling and symptoms. He barely look to the patient, much less examine. Seems like he is really unhappy performing his job. I would definitely go to a different clinic next time.

Slow as fck. Almost 3 hrs waited to be seen. Checked in told me how long I asked u guys do call and said yes u going be in car.. no shit I am. Lazy workers. Why couldn't do 2 Swab test for results in 20min but did 2 separate test after the other for 40 fckn minutes
