Recent visit on 3/20/25 that would probably be my last. This is why I prefer HPH over Queens. I went in last night because I suspected that I had a TIA earlier that morning. My entire stay was a little over 2 hours. I had first met with a PA who did a little assessment on me and then met with the doctor who performed the same assessment. He then told me that he thinks I'm having a "migraine." Even after informing him of my symptoms and that I experienced this very same thing a few years back except at that time I had difficulty speaking as well. He told me he would give me medicine and if it didn't help with the numbness in my face and legs, he would order a CT. So he first started by ordering labs and an ECG (forgot to mention urine test prior to speaking with providers.) They ran an IV and gave me "Tylenol and Benadryl." I felt really stupid sitting in the waiting room all fricken drowsy ready to pass out with people walking back and forth. After the meds were done I was released just like that. NO ONE went over ANY of the RESULTS from the labs and ECG. The one main thing I thought they were going to check was my Cholesterol because back in September it was high. But nope not even that and as far as my BP goes, it has been high for the past week and so at the ER it was indeed high and the response I got from the nurse was "oh yeah that's common when you're in the ER." Like seriously? I hate Queens period!
Rude staff and absurd waiting time for a room. Stuck in hallway for about 12 hours so far and staff is not sympathetic. No treatment given yet except for pain. Visitors aren't welcomed.
I've had many incidents that have landed me At Queens. Nothing but great things to say about the staff from the front door in,to your exit ride out, great attitudes and lots of Aloha.
Went in for a work injury all staff were so helpful and nice. Doctors and nurses take really good care of the patients! Also went in with a full house of patients and got checked within minutes!
I have 3 accounts 1 of them has a negative $20. That means they need to refund me my $20. I don't know how hard this is to understand.Ive called & spoke to billing many times but they dismiss me and are argumentative. It's very simple. My bill was over paid. Send me back my $20. It's already been almost a year. I would advise to pay careful attention to your accounts if you are dealing with Queen's west. This has happened to me before & others. Interesting if you owe them even 20cents theyll be in contact.I have waited as long as an hour on hold with no response trying to get this resolved. Shameful what folks pay in healthcare to get such lack of competent service.
Very accommodating ,the staff are very caring ,great experience!!
THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE, NO MATTER HOW THESE PEOPLE UPGRADE THE HOSPITAL, BUT THE WAIT IS REALLY TERRIBLE, YOU PEOPLE REALLY GOT TO STEP IT UP............... SERIOUSLY I'VE BEEN HERE A LOT OF GOSSIP
Been waiting for over 20 hours in the ER for my mother in law to get admitted. The unprofessionalism of these nurses is unreal. Someone just came into the ER they immediately admitted them. We was like what the hell. They said he is contagious. We told them we was waiting 20 plus hours and the nurse just walked away
I was here visiting my brother in intensive care unit... Lots of fish and cilantro...love the broth...not too spicy. Staff is very personable and caring when serving the soup.. Atmosphere is quiet. Many different snacks, drinks, and good.....
My mom used to go here and she had such great reviews and such great care when she injured her leg and had a wound Years later now, I have come back as my husband has to be here and we've been here since October when we first went in the one doctor that we seen and you see different doctors all the time but just tell you their providers they don't tell you if their physician assistance nurse practitioners are even a doctor First one was very unprofessional no bedside manner. I was like oh you need to go to the ER stat when it was just a little wound that we got referred here from our podiatrist a few times we've had good people as far as nurses sometimes we've had nurses that are very under educated in wounds and very undereducated in bedside manner today's when I asked them if they could take a look at it there was a lot of dry skin and all they did is press a pin on it and that's it. I asked the nurse today who is a guy Asian looking very clean cut bolo head and he was totally ignoring what I was asking him asked him if they could antiseptically clean his foot the last time we were here they did it, and the girl said that they do it all the time every time we come every week and he just totally ignored What I asked, didn't even clean the Foot unwrapped it the physician or whoever he was came and used a teal color pen to cut under the skin that he just put a gauze on it put a pat on it and we was out the door. There was not no type of wound care done here. They didn't even clean the wound. I'm seeing this for the second time cause that is imperative when you have an open wound on your foot. Heavily disappointed And they're like the guy who came in third I guess he was a physician or maybe a physicians assistant a brand new foot doctor he was like well let's just follow the care of the foot doctor and I'm like is it aren't we here for you to make sure the wound is taken care of? Fricking useless

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
