List of Aileen Yee's Reviews
I just had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Aileen Yee. She is friendly explains things in a simple and matter of fact manner. She always asks if you have any questions too. I never have to wait very long and feel that I am well taken care of
I was referred to Dr Yee by my OB Dr Melanie Lau (she's the bomb). I was a bit anxious as I had read a less than stellar YELP review...but also because I was unfamiliar with their office location. Thank goodness for a green billboard that had the clinic information on it...I quickly made a right turn into their parking lot!Their office was right off of the parking lot. Asia welcome me and took my information. She handed me the questionnaire that they emailed to me several weeks before (but I had forgotten it at home), and I proceeded to fill out the paperwork. The only other patient was an elderly Chinese woman, accompanied by her son (who was waiting for her in the waiting room). After his mom was done, he was escorted to the exam room to get the rundown. After I completed the questionnaire I was summoned by Nurse Yolanda (she's the sweetest ever). We will skip the details of specimens and the dread scale. The exam room was the same bright yellow of the waiting room. Yolanda was very nice and very informative as she proceeded to do a bladder scan (to measure how much pee is left in the bladder after you supposedly emptied it while doing your specimen). In any case, Yolanda successfully banished my anxiety, and I calmly waited for Dr Yee to come see me.Dr Yee is a petite woman, soft in voice and demeanor...and boy DOES SHE KNOW HER STUFF!!! You know a doctor is knowledgeable when they are able to explain everything in a way that makes US understand! She explained what was happening with my body, and then provided me with 3 treatment options...AND her professional opinion as to what she would recommend. She thoroughly answered whatever questions I had and THEN she asked ME what I thought!!!Thank you Dr Yee for making each of your patients feel like they're your only patient. Appreciate that treatment is customized to ME. Looking forward to doing a year of kegels (figuratively)...and seeing how I've progressed. See you again in a year!
Dr. Yee is an outstanding physician. My wife is actually the patient but I participate in Dr. Yee's consult and we always discuss post-visit. She has always been thorough in her examination, very attentive and sensitive to my wife's needs and responsive to our questions. She has great suggestions when it comes to alternatives to medications such as over-the-counter remedies. Her assistant is also outstanding in her compassion and endeavors to make patients feel more comfortable - especially when the exam involves some pain. She is very, very comforting. Her front office person is also very accommodating and friendly, and never impatient. She welcomes calls even when extremely busy. You rarely find this kind of complete patient oriented practice from the whole team.
I was referred to Dr. Yee for urinary incontinence by my PC (Primary Care PA) I have a hard time trusting doctors. It has taken me 4 years to put together "My Team". I have several different doctors who treat very specific diseases and disorders for my several autoimmunity disorders. On my first visit to Dr. Yee, she was somewhat friendly, taking my information and explained a test that she would be conducting on my next visit. I left her office confused. Information overload. On my second visit I was instructed to arrive with a full bladder. She had me urinate in a bucket which measured how much urine my bladder held and how much urine I retained she finished the test and told me that my problem was that I wasn't completely emptying my bladder. I told her that I had a UTI and that complicated how much urine I withheld. She told me that her computer said I wasn't emptying my bladder and that was what she was going with. She then said that she would empty my bladder and show me how much urine I retained. I told her again that I had a UTI. She used a catheter to manually empty my bladder. I wasn't trying to disagree, but I reiterated that I had a UTI. as I was getting dressed, my lady parts were burning. As I wiped, I was wiping away a brown colored liquid. Dr. Yee said I didn't need to worry, it was Betadine, an antiseptic that keeps the area clean. I panicked and kept wiping. I told Dr. Yee that I was allergic to iodine. Betadine contained iodine. I used another wipe trying to stop the burning sensation. I told Dr. Uee that I was allergic to iodine. She looked at me and said "Did you write down that you were allergic?" I told her that I absolutely wrote down that I was allergic. She didn't say one word, no apology, nothing. Dr. Yee then told me that she drained over 2 quays of urine. She said that I wouldn't need to pee for quite awhile. I left the office and her MA reminded me that if I think that Had another UTI, that I could use one of the 3 Orders to get a test. I left there still burning and not very happy. 15 minutes later I had a strong urge to pee, I couldn't stop it and I peed all over my car seat. It was so much urine, it left a puddle. I was so angry. Dr. Yee has said That I would not pee for awhile. 15 minutes is not a while. I called her office and the male MA said he would let Dr. Yee know. I thought I would at least receive a call back to Apologize. Not a word. On my 3rd visit Dr. Yee told me I had a ITI. I thought We'll Dih, I told you that at my 2nd visit. Still no apology. Dr. Yee just said you were right. The test was wrong and once my UTI cleared up, we could do the test again. On my 4th visit, I told Dr. Yee that I still had a UTI. she said I could use one of the test paper to get the UTI test. I called my PA Scott about getting a new set of blood work done. He agreed and wrote the request. I also told him that I had a UTI and he added a urinalysis. The urinalysis results confirmed that I had a UTI. Scott went ahead and prescribed Leviquin to get started with and I could call Dr. Yee and let her take over. 3 days later, Dr. Yee called me at work. I asked her how she was and she told me that she would not treat me since Scott ordered an antibiotic. I was shocked! I was upset and started crying. I tried to explain that the Leviquin was only meant to get me started until I could speak to Dr. Lee. For the next 25 minutes she ripped in to me saying that since I felt that her services were not meeting my expectations, I could find someone new. I tried again to explain Why Scott ordered Leviquin for me but her mind was made up. She was mimicking what I was saying as if I was a 5 year old child. I finally gave up trying to explain. For all the times she hurt me and never apologized, you'd think that she would give me a break, a first warning. Nope. She fired me all because Scott wrote me 1 little antibiotic prescription. I wish we could give negative feedback. I will NEVER use her services or refer anybody to use her.
Dr. Eileen Yee is a totally extraordinary and amazing physician! She is there with you at every step of the way and explaining and guiding your thinking and next steps. She is a total 10 in all regards!!
Dr. Yee, is a very excellent doctor. I really like seeing her. Caring doctor and explains everything to you. Nice staff there also. Would highly recommend anyone to see her.
I worked as a nurse where she brought patients. But having her take my mom as a patient and seeing her explain into details what mom had to do and why, and also being caring and patient really makes you feel comfortable seeing her as your own personal MD. She doesn't make you feel rushed and you feel heard if you're her patient. She sits down and explains things in easier terms. There is also a good process when it comes to the office, nice and organized staff make it so easy to be a patient of Dr.Yee! Thank you Dr. Yee you're the best!
Took fantastic care of my wife and continues to follow up with care.
Dr. Yee takes time to discuss your issues and doesn't make you feel rushed. The staff is very polite and friendly.
It doesn't get much better than Dr. Yee. Her office is efficient and she is extremely friendly and professional. I have a complex medical issue and she is willing to tackle it on . This includes referring me to the right supplemental providers and finding medical and practical solutions.
