Worst Doctor visit. Made to wait 2 hours past appointment time. Then rudely blamed me for not bringing test results myself when it was supposed to have been sent from referring doctor. He is rude and inconsiderate. Office is also filthy and dirty. Never go here again.

Never received any pre visit call for instructions. Office was also filthy and staff had no regrets for making patients wait for hours. Never coming here again.

If anyone needs an orthopedic doctor, than Dr. Cordero is the one for you. He is courteous and hears you. I trust Dr. Cordero 100% plus. He knows what he is doing. He cares and that is what matters. His staff is right on amd makes you feel comfortable. Thank You doctor DR. CORDERO

I sat in on an appt my friend had with Dr Cordero. When he entered the room, my friend apologized for the confusion concerning her asking for a second opinion. The Dr said he didn't even want this appt to happen because he didn't want to see her. He said when my friend wanted to have a second opinion, it indicated that she did not have trust in him and so he did not want to see her. He said she would have doubts abt the outcome no matter how it turned out. My friend explained she wanted a second opinion because the Dr immediately said she would need surgery which would limit her range of motion. She said she wanted to see if there was another option such as PT or any other procedure that was less invasive. The Dr said he understood her fear but not having meant she did not have any confidence in him. He then said that he felt ppl had the misconception that Filipinos tend to rip off ppl to make money so that is why he does surgery. To my astonishment, he told her that ppl think that Filipino doctors are less competent than those of other ethnicity. He said that ppl felt that Filipino dr's education and training was not as good as other nationalities. He stated that he was just as competent as any other dr. She said she did not feel that way and her primary care Dr is Filipino. He said that's different. Btw my friend is also Filipino. He said that the ortho surgeon community is small and that they all know each other. I took that to mean he could blackball her name to other doctors. He said he declined her case and no longer wanted to see her. My friend sat in amazement. I asked him what should she do. He said he could give her names of several drs she could try to see if they would take her case but later refused to do that when the receptionist questioned him. I felt as though he just abandoned her just because she did not want to do the surgery. I felt he was very arrogant and insecure and lacked professionalism to enter the room so angrily and say the things he said. I was shocked when he brought up the racial bias that ppl might have against Filipinos. My friend told him she still experienced pain and didn't know what to do next. He said he was aware of her pain but did not want to treat her.

As busy as they are, Dr. Cordero and his staff were genuine and respectful .... even if I changed my mind about my procedure. My surgery was planned and performed expediently, and is healing very nicely. I highly recommend Dr. Cordero to treat your orthopedic condition. He and his staff are obviously diligent in their work ethic.I appreciated that I was treated as a person, not another "Maam" the way my other surgeon had become. The only thing that can be improved is the office wait which has been about 45 minutes.

Dr. Antonio Cordero is one of the best and most reputable orthopedic surgeon and hand specialist on the island with many years of experience. Ask any one in the field and they would agree. Dr. Cordero has one of the most gentle hands making him a fine surgeon with a great record of successful surgeries. He has two offices: 94-216 Farrington Hwy Suite 103 in Waipahu and his office in town-1712 Liliha St Ste 301 (808) 536-1011. For your convenience, his office on Liliha has everything you would need. Radiology, pediatrics, Lab work and pharmacy are all conveniently located in the same building so you don't have to drive and park just to get something done.

I work with Dr. Cordero and I was a patient at one time. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and accepts patients with 'not so great insurance' that the other docs won't accept. Definitely does his fair share of charity cases in Hawaii. He is a delight to work with and very courteous to the entire OR and PACU team!

in it for the billable hours. herds his patients in like cattle. How can he possibly give each one the attention and care needed to heal. 50 plus patients a day ridiculous.
