The appt I made weeks prior was not on the schedule when I arrived. Waited 1 hour before being seen. Not sure if he was in a hurry but didn’t seem to want/care about what I wanted opinions on or what I had to say. He offered surgery but I’m not confident he knew what for. But offered it anyway. I’ve been suffering chronic pain x1 year, he never asked more details before jumping to it. Just said it surgery could help or may not. Left the office in tears from frustration.

Dr. De Los Reyes is a kind, understanding and highly trained plastic surgeon who did my breast reconstruction after mastectomy for breast cancer. He is wonderful! His skill is evident, in that I am extremely pleased with the results of the reconstruction.His staff at the office in POB2 at Queen's Hospital is A+; they are all top notch, professional, and highly responsive to any questions I had. I highly recommend Dr. De Los Reyes and his staff!

My child was born at 27 weeks and was born with a soft cleft palate that wasn't discovered until after. After leaving the NICU after months we was referred to the cleft team and Kapiolani Medical Center where we've met doctor Carl de los Reyes. He was going to perform my daughter surgery when she becomes 1 year of age. After a year passed by couple weeks ago my daughter did her surgery and during her recovery it well excellent! She's slowly recovering and doing well. He explained everything came to visit her In the hospital and did a excellent job on my baby ! I highly recommend someone like him

I'm in Kailua-Kona. I was referred to him because he has an address here. In fact he is only here every other month for one day. I flew to Oahu for a five minute consult to reconstruct my nostril after a Mose procedure. Delos Reyes office submitted an authorization request to HMSA and then withdrew it - needing more info. They never resubmitted it and never called. They wouldn't return my calls. There's more . . .Michele W. KK, HI - Dec 2018

He is a dick... I got recommended by ER. He took off old splint looked at it 1 minute then said im going to send you to someone else to re splint it he put my rap back on crapy and charged me 300$ not worth the money or time. Find someone else he sucks.

I'm rating this review a two star not because of the work Dr. Carl de los Reyes does but mainly on the the communication issues I've been having for literally two weeks. Called and left a message every single day for the last two weeks and no response, I even sent an email and nothing back. I recently broke my jaw and needed surgery done in which everything healed up good however the wires have been left in close to two months over the time when they could've been removed. An approval letter was needed from my insurance provider that was faxed over to Queens right away. I've expressed the urgency of my wires being needed to be taken out as they are clinging on to my gums and causing pain. Depending on how long it takes their business office to respond my rating will stand. I would like to finish the surgery with Dr. Carl de los Reyes but may have to continue the procedure with another surgeon if this cannot be reconciled. Updates review - I changed my rating up to a three star as the procedure and surgery went very well and everything is good. I would rate Dr. Carl de los Reyes a five star for his work as I couldn't be any happier of how good the surgery went. A day after posting my review on here I was contacted and everything that was needed on their side was handled and the appointment set within a few days. I can only imagine of how hard it might have been for others to go through this process especially if they don't have social networking resources such as yelp to help out. The queens hospital nurses and helpers are the best of the best. Very thankful for everyone that helped me during my stay and both surgeries. Much appreciated and big thanks to Dr. Carl de los Reyes.
