List of Cass Nakasone's Reviews
15 months after surgery I am essentially crippled. Knees still swell up and the pain is considerable. Follow up from he and his team was non-existent!
Talked me into having both knees done at the same time. 14 months later and I am crippled. His follow up care was non-existent.
My wife went to see Dr. Nakasone. His advice, when you can't stand the pain in your knee, we'll do a knee replacement because there is nothing else that can be done. Contacted the Mayo clinic, they were surprised on what he said. The doctor at the Mayo repaired the injured knee without having to replace the entire knee. Dr. Nakasone might be excellent in conducting knee replacements but maybe is not up to date on other procedures.
Three days after knee replacement I am well on my way to complete recovery. 24 hours after surgery I only needed Tylenol for pain. This surgeon is so wonderful. Caring and attentive. ❤️💖❤️💖❤️
One year after bilateral knee replacements and I am still in considerable pain and barely walk with the use of a cane. After my surgery I was dumped in a rehab hospital where my legs froze, bent at 30 degrees. Not a word from Dr. Nakasone or his team. One of the worst decisions I ever made! I could at least swim, walk and exercise before my surgery. It too Physical Therapy twice a week for nine months just to get my knees mostly straight again.
Don't go there! Loose implant after 3 months. He did not offer to fix it. Instead refers out to someone else. He will not admit to or fix his very sloppy total knee replacement . I have been in pain since he worked on me. Seems like his $ production is more important than his patients welfare. Go somewhere else for tkr
I have been in pain for 3.5 yrs, 3 months after the procedure. He put in a loose implant for a total knee replacement. Refused to fix his sloppy work instead tried to farm out problem to other non knee replacement Dr's. I have the most crooked incision of anyone who has had this procedure. He also put my leg back together Crooked. I would not recommend him to anyone.
My 79 year old dad had hip surgery. He had an amazing experience with Dr Nakasone because he is an expert surgeon and just a great guys. My dad says he feel like a 25 year old. His surgery went so well that he didn't even do PT. He walked out of the hospital say day. Awesome experience from beginning to end!!
I had both my hips replaced by Dr. Nakasonie, I'm very athletic, and wanted to be able to continue with my athletic lifestyle after my first hip replacement 12 years ago, I had my second hip replacement 6 years ago, and I'm happy to say I really can't even tell I had my hips replaced. Dr. Nakasonie did truly worked is magic on replacing my hips. I still can continue to live my athletic life.
Dr Nakasone is the best orthopedic surgeon in Honolulu. He truly cares for his patients and offered several options vs whole knee replacement. I would highly recommend him for orthopedic surgery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
