My son sees dr. wooShe is very knowledgeable and prompt to see you if your kid is sick and can be reached at anytime if you have questions
This review is based on past experience with my visits with Dr. Wu. I'm no longer going to Dr. Wu due to I'm way over the age. I had seen Dr. Wu over 10+ years. Dr. Wu is very nice and caring. She understands my conditions and understands me well.
We had a very bad experience with dr Wu. Hesitate that my wife gave birth three weeks earlier than the expected date of birth, so there is no time for a pediatrician. My wife is from China. After giving birth to the child, our gynecologist recommended and called Dr. Wu. Her clinic is on the 9th floor of the same building. On the same day she came down to see the baby and left without doing anything. The next day she came again and checked the child casually, taking only two or three minutes. She told us to make an appointment to see her the next day after she was discharged from hospital, saying that she would have to have another physical examination with the child. Meanwhile we asked Dr. Wu if she could help our baby apply for medical insurance. Her answer could not be ambiguous and she did not answer me directly. Later she said she only received cash and asked for $ 1100. Say it's a package service that sees children three times in total, the first day after discharge, then two weeks later, and then four weeks later. We made an appointment to see her for the first time on December 14, 2018. Dr. Wu spent about five minutes watching my son. She said that my son had ear problems and then immediately said, " Sorry, I remember wrong, it was someone else's child. It really makes us confused. Then let's make an appointment on the 27th to see it again. We paid her $ 1100 in cash this day. Later, I heard from my coworker that children can apply for free medical insurance in KPHC. We went to KPHC to ask, and applied for our children's medical insurance on the same day, which will be free in the future. We asked to cancel Dr. Wu's appointment on the 27th and ask for a refund. But then today they only returned us $ 200. My son has only been to your clinic once, $ 1100 is the package price for three services! A charge of $ 366.66 Should be only applicable at one time. Dr. Wu's clinic explained that after the birth of the baby, Dr. Wu went downstairs to see us twice. $ 300 at a time. Are you kidding me? You come downstairs and say Hello to us for $ 300! ? Dr. Wu not only failed to help us apply for the child's medical insurance, but also guided us to pay her cash ( cash can be exempted from tax returns ). If I were Dr. Wu, I would at least help the child apply for medical insurance or tell the patient's family how to apply instead of just looking at the money! We are very regret!
We had a very bad experience with dr Wu. Dr Wu is my babe's pediatric physician more than 5 years .she is very kind, knowledgeable, caring, patient .and my daughter feels very comfortable to see Dr WU and we got the best pediatric in this world.Dr Wu is most Kindest Doctor ever I saw .it is our pleasure to found such a great doctor ! Mahalo !
I like her, she's very concern and she gives lots of information, very smart and kind doctor
I have three kids used to be cared by Dr. Wu. I gave her an okay rating over all. With all the routine baby check/immunizations, she did a good job. However, when a new born with medical condition (resulted from milk allergy), Dr. Wu along with other GI specialist did not have a clue how to treat the baby. Her approach was rather experimental and could have our baby killed if the hospital had not stepped in. Over many years under her care, she never had our kids check food allergy until we switched to a new doctor (it was discovered then by this new doctor at the very first appointment, our baby had very strong milk allergy (could be fatal!). We decided to terminate her service after she refused to share medical lab results directly from lab (instead, she would ask us to visit her office to learn the results). In Hawaii, the physicians have the discretion whether or not to have lab test results send to patients directly. She exercised her power as a doctor not to let us to get test results directly from lab, we, in return, exercised our power in the business relationship, to have her terminated.
Hands down the most fabulous pediatric doctor EVER! Her knowledge and love for her craft is outstanding! She shows a deep concern for each of my boys and been able to see us though emergencies and yearly visits. The office staff is caring and compassionate... They have made us feel welcomed and happy to visit, even when my boys are not feeling good.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
