Daniel Buehler Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr Buehler is by far the best pediatrician and human in the world! He takes time and genuinely cares. Our daughter was admitted in PICU and we were there for 3 days. Ot only did he come to see her, but the doctors and nurses there said he was involved from the very begging. They also said, “If he is your pediatrician, you are safe, he takes care of his patients”. When we were discharged we came to see him and he had already scheduled follow up doctors that can help with her specific condition. Two different doctors (genetics and blood doctor) both need to draw blood for further testing and he made sure they only poke her once and draw enough blood for both test and he already communicated this to them. This man is a god sent human being. If he takes new patients, make sure your child is on the waitlist.

I was not pleased with the standard of care from this pediatrician. He ignored my children's medical history and my concerns, and failed to follow up on many occasions. He was mostly cordial during the visits but then wrote false statements in my children's charts and did not document crucial information like past ER visits. I would look elsewhere for a care provider.

I was not pleased with the standard of care from this pediatrician. He ignored my children's medical history and my concerns, and failed to follow up on many occasions. He was mostly cordial during the visits but then wrote false statements in my children's charts and did not document crucial information like past ER visits. He refused to prescribe my 5 year old an emergency inhaler for school because he said "school nurses don't know how to use them" and then went on to document in my son's chart that he didn't believe his mother (me) that he even has asthma. What incentive do I have to mislead him? He did not document my son's 3 ER visits for breathing trouble or consider his past medical history at all when making this determination. Mothers are their children's best health advocates and your child deserves someone who cares, will listen, and take your concerns seriously. That is not Dr. Buehler.

Very patient and has great interactions with my children

Dr. Buehler was the only pediatrician found (after interviewing >10) who did not rely on fear tactics to push or enforce some methodology that I did not agree with. I found him quite open and knowledgeable when asked questions and he explained complicated concepts in plain English well.
