David Cho's Online Review Report Card

Dr Cho is the best plastic surgeon in Hawaii!! After numerous consultations and ridiculously priced quotes from other PS in Hawaii, I chose Dr Cho for my liposuction procedure and had an amazing experience. Not only was his quote very reasonable priced, but he steered me in the right direction (lipo instead of tummy tuck), had great bedside manner, and I'm loving my results so far. It's only been 1 month post-op so I'm still a little swollen but the results are smooth and natural looking (my biggest concern was having lumps and irregularities). In addition his team of nurses (Tessie & Lorna) and even the anesthesiologist are top notch!! They really put me at ease and made me feel like family . I highly recommend!!

This is not for Dr. Cho but the Straub Plastic Surgery center in general. I called trying to schedule a consultation appointment for breast reconstruction and was told I couldn't be seen there because I was being seen at queen's. Then the receptionist added insult to injury by saying if I was a burn victim they would see me. There are very limited options for insurance covered breast reconstruction on the island and they showed no compassion to a breast cancer survivor trying to get a second opinion.

Dr. Cho is an excellent doctor. He is not only an expert in plastic surgery, but he is also a genuinely nice person. I enjoyed all of my visits to see Dr Cho and will always highly recommend him to others.

My daughter was born with a cleft lip & palate. Dr.Cho is one of the awesome surgeons who work with kapiolani craniofacial team. We were first assigned to a surgeon who I did not feel confident in making sure my daughter would get the best results so I did all my research on all the surgeons kapiolani offered and Dr. Cho was a no brainer with all his great reviews and photos of before and after pictures of the babies he's worked on. Our first appt with him was great. He was so informative, confident and even drew out a picture of how he'd do the surgery & how the scar would be to make sure I knew everything! I ask 10,000 questions lol and he answers them all without making me feel like it's a bother. First surgery went perfect and I still can't believe the results!! Even though he didn't think a nose stent would work after I asked him twice about it lol He decided the morning of the surgery that he thinks it would benefit her and because of his care and dedication he put into the surgery, I'm still in awe of how great my daughters lip & especially nose turned out. I recommend Dr.Cho because I know first hand on how talented,dedicated and a perfectionist he is. Like it's not just a job & paycheck to him, it way more than that.I'm so thankful and proud of myself for going with my mothers gut feeling and picked Dr.Cho because I strongly believe that if I went with another surgeon, my daughters results wouldn't be as good as it is right now. Hawaii is so lucky to have one of the best surgeons in the country.

If you're looking for a great plastic surgeon then I would definitely check Dr. David Cho. He's located in Straub. I liked that because you're not in the hospital, but very close to the emergency room (just in case). From beginning to end, it was a great experience. The nurses were all so caring and nice. The anesthesiologist was incredibly sweet and gentle. Everyone told me at least a few times not to worry and that they will take good care of me. And they really did! I'm so happy I chose him!

Great office and staff. Kept a good schedule. We always get safe and knew what was going on.

We have known Dr. Cho for over 10 years. He is an incredibly gifted surgeon, but more importantly, a genuinely nice person. He performed multiple surgeries for my wife after her cancer diagnosis 10 years ago, and was also able to remove a non-cancerous mole from my forehead.Dr Cho was always willing to answer all of our questions, and most recently was even able to fit us in on incredibly short notice during this COVID environment.... pretty amazing. I cannot recommend him enough.

Excellent Surgeon

Dr. Cho did our daughters palate repair and it looks amazing. He was great to work with, and made my wife and I both comfortable and confident in his work. We appreciated Dr. Cho and his staff, we highly reccomend them. Thanks from our family.
