Edward Weldon's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Weldon operated on my elbow. I thought I'd done my homework. I did my research. He has a ton of great reviews. I even spoke with one of his patients. i just wanted to get back on the courts and back to fencing. While every surgery has risks and none can be 100% perfect, mine was a disaster. Proper protocols were not followed in the OR. No one from his team has bothered to follow up with me to this day to see how I'm doing.So he puts it in the catagory of a successful surgery. He repaired my elbow. Well big flippin deal. My elbow is repaired but I'm in so much pain I can't even swim laps. Could I have died on that table. Yup. Cause proper protocols were not followed. It's his OR. He's the boss. You can't blame anyone else in that room when it's your show. I'm in more pain now than ever before. It's a failed surgery and if anyone asks me about it I'll be more than happy to tell them about that OR.

I have been Dr. Weldon's patient over the past 15 years with various shoulder problems. I have always been pleased with him and the physical therapy treatments from Straub. Last year I broke my arm at the gym. Unfortunately when I went to emergency, I did not think about Dr. Weldon. After seeing another doctor after the emergency room, I realized that I should have gone to Dr. Weldon and changed doctors to Dr. Weldon. I'm at 90% back to normal. Changing to Dr. Weldon was the best decision for me.Going to Dr. Weldon and Straub during covid was great. From entering the clinic, getting an x-ray, to Dr. Weldon's office, everyone encountered was professional, friendly, and made you feel comfortable and safe. I always enjoyed my visits with Dr. Weldon and was always encouraged that a Senior Citizen get back to normal and if needed, he could do surgery to help me. Fortunately no surgery was required.

I look forward to visits with Dr. Weldon. He is friendly and puts me at ease. His explanations and description are easy to understand. I can see the X-ray or MRI that he is looking at. His nurse and staff are very accommodating. I look forward to working with Straub's physical therapy.C. Doi

Dr. Weldon and his staff have been amazing in my time of crisis!! I was in an unfortunate moped accident and needed emergency surgery on my elbow. Luckily Dr. Weldon was the doctor on call when I went to the emergency room. He did amazing work on my elbow and continues to offer support to me with the follow up appointments. I am very grateful to have Dr. Weldon as my doctor. If anyone is in need of surgery on the elbow or shoulder, he hid the best!!

wish we went to Dr. Weldon from the start. After visiting numerous doctors, it wasn't until we saw Dr. Weldon that he immediately knew the cause of my daughter's swollen collar bone. He performed surgery to repair the torn ligaments and after years of pain, she is now FINALLY pain-free.

After a traumatic tear of my biceps tendon, I went to physical therapy to help in the healing process. My very astute physical therapist, said, "You have something else going on in your shoulder." I got an appointment with Dr. Weldon and he immediately diagnosed my problem, prescribed shoulder exercises and with in 3 months, I was pain free.

I wish I had gone to seen Dr. Weldon first. After years of shoulder pain & numerous injections (by my regular doc and a sports doc) I had shoulder surgery (different doc) and my shoulder pain continued and stiffness increased. Finally I listened to my wife's who said Dr. Weldon was the best trained shoulder specialist on the island. After a thorough workup & surgery & great rehab & great follow up I am 100% better. Thank you Dr. Weldon.

I saw Dr Weldon last year for a frozen shoulder. He was very friendly and informative. He did a microscopic surgery and couldn't tell I had proc cure done. I continue to do stretches as needed. I would go back to him if I ever need to.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Weldon, provided you are willing to put in work in fixing your injury (shoulder in my case.) Dr. Weldon is thorough, knowledgable and an overall excellent health care provider. Do his stretches, they might fix you so you can avoid surgery!
