Elenita Alvarez's Online Review Report Card

Very rude receptionist. I called about a patient of mine and the woman who answered interrupted me multiple times, blamed me for not knowing the information I was inquiring about, and hung up on me. If Dr. Alvarez employs a person like that, I can't even imagine how unpleasant an actual appointment would be. Not impressed with their service. Not surprised their clinic averages 2 out of 5 stars.

She is a great doctor for me. Although she's always late and comes in around 10:30 am instead of 9:00 am. I understand, she's late because sometimes her patient are giving birth or in labor unexpectedly and of course as Doctor you need to visit your patient to check how she doing or sometimes she's late because she in the hospital delivering a baby. In my side, I never had complications or any problem of her being my OB. If ever Im having another baby. I want her to be my OB again. She made a bag for me when I was in hospital and said "I sew this for you while waiting for you to give birth"

I don’t wanna go back in her clinic anymore, she’s rude, I was curious with my ultrasound result,of course I asked her about it and she said why i asked her too much and told me to just read the paper she gave me..I went to her office to ask question and to get an advice to her but nothing she just insult me..I hate it.bad experience.

If you're going to look for a OBGYN doctor, this is not the place so i had to do a review after thinking things over and what I've experienced last week to go see this doctor, I was referred by another... Observing for my very first time was doubts, getting to know this doctor! However, she asked me my race and said to me "Is your mom Haole"? I replied no, she has Part Hawaiian mixed, and my dad is Samoan! To think this doctor told me that, Is she racial..?mmm... Another, she shows me several pics of a past patient...her p. surgery, she talked about that patient to me, isn't it confidential? Your not supposed to communicate with a patient about another patient! She talked about other subjects too while I was in the room with her (asked me "Do you work"? Its none of her business!) Another conversation needless to say as she explained to me about "she can do procedure in the room here" but "how much can you take pain"?... as Dr. told me( she says I also do it here) & I don't think this is legal, not at all and such unprofessional manners and unethical! Too much nonsense talk!!! Maybe needs to retire soon? Well, whatever it is, I am not going back there anymore!!! Will be finding a better doctor to help me. Somehow, only now I read some reviews of this doctor & Not good! Wow, unbelievable...Guess you have to experience it in person to see! I don't want to give any stars, but it says too, so only 1...and that would be for the nurses, they were nice!

Seriously, one of the worse doctor ever. I've been here in the past and from that one experience, I didn't even want to come back to her because if you have something wrong with you, she'll judge you. I had no choose to come back to her and this time, they made me wait for a long time. My appointment was at 10am. I waited in the waiting room and when they finally called me in, the nurse told me to wait and she'll come back to let me know when to undress myself. I was waiting for another 30 mins. Of course I got up and told them that I have to leave because I had another plans made after this appointment. I am not waiting for another 30 mins. I only came to her because she was the only one that is open on the weekends. And now, I don't mind requesting an extra day off just to see another doctor on the weekdays who isn't like her. I have never read any reviews about her until now and reading others reviews about her, I agree to everything they say. Currently looking for another doctor.

Dr. Alvarez is a nice lady. But she really needs to value other people's time more.She goes on break and comes back almost 1 hour after the times given. Expect waiting a looooooong time with this doctor.

I got a call from the receptionist about an hour ago saying I had an appointment today. Either I misplaced my reminder card, or I threw it away, but I was confused on why they called me. So I asked the receptionist what the appointment was for. She said it was for my annual check up.What I don't get is why didn't they call me the day before to remind me that I needed to come in???? I had totally forgot I even made an appointment with them a year ago. So wouldn't they give a reminder call? Am I the only one?Looks like after my next appointment, I'm looking for another doctor. Sorry about that!

The absolute worst OB dr I have ever been to, wish I could give negative stars!!! Found out I was pregnant 6 weeks ago, went to her, she said I was 4 weeks,( this was early May) well that was 6 weeks ago, I go in for my appointment today (which was supposed to be Thursday but they didn't even have my appointment in the computer, although I had my appointment card, and she wasn't even in the office yet at 10am) and she didn't even know how far along I was! I went in today and she tried to say I was 5 weeks! Even though also the ultrasound I had 2 weeks ago said 8 weeks 1 day!!! She was also rude to me, my husband, and my 7 year old daughter! And when I asked her questions, instead of answering me she told me to "Quit Complaining" and changed the subject! I wouldn't take my dog to this place! Needless to say as soon as I left, I called around and found a new dr to handle my pregnancy!!!

First of all I called to doubled when was my appointment,the next thing they told me it was today so I ask why didn't they remind me a call. To see if it's confirmed, then the lady on the phone said oh we don't usually call new patients to confirm, then she goes oh who refer u n I said I found u guys online . for ur info let ur workers know what's the policy by telling them on sch because I could of gone somewhere else instead of waiting for a month . don't go to them !!!

First time patient. Came in at 8:55 knowing that they open at 9, no big deal. Next thing I know, it's 9:10 and still no one opens the door. Realizing no ones even in the office (phone is constantly ringing in office and no one picks up), I get annoyed. It's not professional to keep patients outside your office waiting for you when your hours of operation state that you OPEN AT 9. They finally opened and we go inside. I fill out all the new patient forms THEN they tell me they don't accept Kaiser. Mind you, she said it without making any eye contact and with an annoyed attitude. After telling me that, she acted as if she was too "busy" to conversations with me any longer while I asked a few questions about my insurance card and what I could do. If you're "busy", maybe next time don't come in late and don't take it out on patients.
